If I could give zero stars I would, avoid this place like the plague. They have very sketchy business practices and will attempt to overcharge without giving an explanation, I wouldn’t be surprised if they were pocketing money. The manager is horrible and the employees are extremely rude. Choose any Hertz BUTthis one unless you want a headache and illegal charges

So I made reservation on line and paid for it online. Went to this location today to a RUDE customer service rep. I approached him and he said driver's license and CREDIT Card. I told him I already paid and got a confirmation number. He said it doesn't matter. I gave it to him. He said is this your debit card, I said yes, I paid in advance. He said doesn't matter. Hertz has a policy for DEBIT cards of $500 deposit and a hold. I said for what a debit card, that makes no sense, I paid in advance. The guy just looked at me. NO SORRY, NO THANK YOU, no NOTHING. So rude. I stormed out. Also the fact that HERTZ took my money on the phone and doesn't know their own POLICY. I travelled 10 miles to get and was dropped off. So I had to wait for the return trip. NEVER USE HERTZ again, ever. This guy made the difference, RUDE

When trying to call the local number for the store and speak to someone on the phone, the line is disconnected. When talking to an agent from hertz they are unable to transfer to the store. Extremely poor customer service when they have a difficult phone tree in place to direct calls and the local phone number isn’t even connected and is disconnected.

David and his crew were great. They drove me to and from the auto collision place and renting a car from them could not have been easier. Highly recommend.

Ok. It’s been a mixed bag for me with rental car service of late. Deja and David restore my faith in Hertz. Both were friendly, extremely efficient, and had me on the road and then checked back in super fast. Kudos to them. Vehicle was what I requested, had 12K miles, looked and ran great.

Cons1) President's circle upgrade on Electric vehicles not available.2) Electric vehicle had 50+k miles, so was noisy.3) Tire pressure was not calibrated.4) Electric vehicle should have adapters compatible with maximum chargers - We got stuck due to this.5) Electric car cannot be returned to different location.Pros1) Car was clean, but sunroof could have been cleaner.2) Process was easy3) Reps were happy and cooperative4) As expected, electric vehicle was cost economical.

The company I worked for rented cars from this Hertz office over 1 year. Some how our contact information went missing in their computer systems. Hence stating that the car was missing/stolen. Yet the company I worked for was still paying monthly rental fees for a “missing” car.

The company car that I rented was on the repo list. Which suggested that I stole the car. All because this Hertz office refused to be accountable for not keeping my number and the company telephone number on file. I was penalized for that office bad business practices.

Deja and Lenny (Laniece) sp. we're absolutely wonderful. They went above and beyond for me. Helped me SO much! You can't go wrong going to Hertz in Canton on Michigan Ave. They'll go out of their way to do the best for you!!

DON'T BOOK WITH THESE PEOPLE.They overbook, and then call and cancel your reservation without trying to even fix the problem, offer you anything or even properly apologize.I'm so mad!I had plans, booked a car, paid in full have all confirmations, and all I'm hearing is, we had too many reservations and have to cancel. The caller wasn't polite enough to properly apologize. Just said her words and hung up.WILL NEVER TRUST HERTZ.

The incompetence at this location is the highest I've ever seen. I got there, they gave my car away. I got upset, they called the police. Sorry if you don't want people to be upset, learn to treat them with dignity and respect.

This was'nt the worst location nor the very best. I was greeted, checked in and out in a timely manner and drove away with my rental. Standard rental car location.
