My wife and I visited the South Canton, Michigan store #2744 on 8/1/2024 looking for a plumbing part. We asked a sales associate for help and rather than helping us solve our problem he proceeded to yell and shame us. He clearly was upset that a lesbian couple was asking assistance by referring to us "you people." The sales associate was not wearing a name tag and when we asked to speak to a manager, he continued to raise his voice at us. We felt so unsafe at that point we left our other purchases in the aisle and promptly left the store.

Curbside pickup is quite bad because of the wait times even if you're the only one waiting. In 2 years I've never had anyone come within 10 mins or without calling the phone number and talking to someone inside.

Cabinets I ordered arrived damaged. Setting up a return has been a nightmare. 1st time they showed up unprepared and couldn't take anything, second time they gave a 14 hour window and didn't show up at all. Still have the damaged cabinets.

Ordered online thru this store. Used my debit card billing address as delivery address. (HAD TO BE CORRECT TO GO THROUGH). received a ripped open box with trimmers that didnt match box or my order (cheaper trimmers) dented n scrapped up. Delivered three houses down (which they put as delivery address). Neighbor who i know said he didnt touch them cause he watch delivery guy throw them all the way across yard to porch. Told by store workers not their problem i ordered online. Told by online contact i could have 50 off for wrong product and damage or wait over twice the original delivery period for replacement after explaining i have a bush job to do in three days. Told no stores within 50 miles have product to trade. (While stores telling me deal with online people). Told if i use trimmers i bought them. With wrong delivery, ripped open box with different product in box, and thrown 30 ft to porch they concentrated on me giving them the wrong address even tho i gave the correct address or the purchase would have been denied. 3 day original delivery, 8 more days to wait for them to send me the right product in hopes of it not being thrown like a baseball. Upon calling all i got was ringing phones til the 4th try when i chose a different option n pretended i was interested in a new purchase at which point phone was answered first ring. You should look what their employees are laughing about unhappy customers on reddit.

The south Canton Home Depot is by far the best in the region. Big shout out to the managers, Dutch and Rafael all of the associates that are always friendly, courteous and very helpful not just to me but everyone that I see it’s clean organized and store is very stocked and well-maintained clean
I will stay going to that location because of their service and stock as well as their organization to find things.

Called ahead and asked if they had the mower I wanted and if it was crated.
It was. But they started putting it together for me while I was on my way with a trailer.
Very nice man who helped. Highly recommend. Great location.
