I love plant/home improvement shopping here with my husband. They offer 10% military discount and have tons of options for whatever you need, it’s my local Lowe’s 5 min from my house so an even bigger plus.I just felt weird today when a cashier was trying to deceive us into applying for a Lowe’s credit card after we had told her no. We were buying a pressure washer and she kept trying to gaslight us that we would get $100 off by applying or 20%, it would be our choice. I read the terms and conditions and it was only 20% off up to $100. She was insistent but I had her read it again and she was like “well it’s $70 still.” While I don’t mind because I’m very thorough, I don’t want anyone else getting their credit hit when they’re definitely not getting the discount they claim. Just beware of credit cards :)

Had a horrible experience at this Lowe’s yesterday.I had an In Store Credit gift card from a previous return so I used that to pay for part of my purchase. When I tried to pay for the rest with a credit card, the self checkout terminal froze and the clerk had to restart the computer. Unfortunately, the gift card balance was taken off so the balance on the gift card was 0 when we retried.The clerk had to call their IT department and the IT department suggested to cash out and make it so that the transaction went through since the corporate system does show the gift card balance being taken off, even if it doesn’t show on the store system. The store managers didn’t like that because it would be a negative balance on their sheet until their system was updated, sticking me with the negative amount.Now I have to call the gift card company to reverse the transaction and give me my money back onto the In Store Credit gift card. The root cause of this whole issue was the terminal freezing, so I don’t understand why I have to be the one in the negative and have to work to get it fixed.In the end, I felt betrayed because the managers were only caring about their balance sheet and not the customer’s experience. I understand the customer isn’t always right but in this case I’m the one that was robbed money, not the other way around. Lowe’s has the responsibility to fix the problem.

Lowe's is good but I'm a home Depot guy. But I don't like about Lowe's is that you can't go and buy 4 ft of board you have to buy the full length.

My favorite store for home improvement just wish they had a store a bit closer to where I live. Always seems to be well stocked compared to other stores.

The appliance delivery by JB hunt is very unreliable and unprofessional ; they come at there own time and expect the customer to be available; first day they came before 45 min and by the time I could reach they left ; I got a traffic ticket in the process; next they cancelled due to broken truck ; today they are at location before two hours ; the driver had attitude and has zero customer service.

This place is super clean and organized, which I love. There's a ton of options to choose from, so you'll definitely find what you need. Also online pick up was ready for pick up early than expected.

Jim was awesome. And a good salesman, haha! He helped us find some good deals on power tools and helped us find exactly what we needed! He was so nice and we had some good conversations about knife sharpening! Lol.
