I like the selection at this location. I find great deals on name brands for low prices. Associates are friendly and the store is clean. Smaller than Ann Arbor but usually not as busy. I've only sold here a few times but have received a good amount for what I was selling.

So me and my boyfriend went in here and exchanged clothes on the same order and had the same receipt for all our stuff and got our total and everything and went to leave and i noticed I didn’t have my Nike tech or my pink and vs stuff and we went back and you could tell they had it and were trying to play it off but we demanded for my stuff back. They had it in a whole separate basket then his stuff when it was brought it all together and tried to steal almost 400$ worth of stuff and kept giving us different receipts like they didn’t just see us come in with stuff not on the list because they knew that they wanted to keep that basket of my stuff. The items they had in that separate basket were not on the list or given back to me. Do not go here unless you want to get scammed. Editing this because it’s hilarious they responded and said they didn’t have intentions to steal my clothes😂if that was the case why wasn’t my stuff in the bin with my boyfriends clothes and put in a whole separate one when we brought our clothes together make it make sense this is just a scamming store no wonder almost 400$ of stuff of mine was stolen and put in a seperate bin😂

I shop at Plato’s Closet all the time and genuinely love the chain. I usually go there for new pieces each season or for special occasions, and I’ve had good experiences at the Battle Creek, Ann Arbor, and Novi locations. Unfortunately, this Canton location has been consistently disappointing.
The main issue: sensors left on clothing—every single visit. I’ve shopped here 5 consecutive times, and each time, I’ve gotten home only to find sensors still attached to my purchases, forcing me to make another trip back. On my 5th visit, I even checked carefully before leaving. I literally pointed out a sensor on a pair of shorts as they were being bagged, and the associate dismissed me—until I picked it up myself and showed her. Then, as I left, the door alarm went off because another item still had a sensor on it. When I mentioned how often this happens, the employee just smiled and said, “Yeah, that does happen sometimes.” No apology, no concern.
On top of that, I had a really frustrating selling experience. I brought in 20–30 items, including 7 pairs of Lululemon leggings in excellent condition (some never even worn). They took all of them but initially offered me $30–$40. Then the associate got confused, changed it to $10, and couldn’t explain how or why. I was left with no clear breakdown, and they insisted on keeping all the items for just $10—plus they gave me a $5 voucher as if that made up for it. For brand-name items like that, it honestly felt like I was taken advantage of.
I really wish this location would improve, because it’s close to home and I do love Plato’s Closet as a whole. But between careless mistakes, lack of professionalism, and questionable buyback practices, this particular store has lost my trust.

I can’t believe I forgot to leave a review. My bestfriend and I came in maybe like late may or early June. We had a great experience thanks to Rachel and Jacqueline. They both have a very down to earth personalities and were very helpful. I haven’t been there in a few months I’m going to have to stop by soon. My bestfriend and I found some really cool items at this location

I took a bag of clothes to this location, they told me we only want to buy 2 nike t-shirts, I agreed. When I got home I noticed 2 Nike shoes missing from my bag, they take your things and don’t pay you, that’s stealing make sure to check your bags before leaving!
