The last 3 times I've went into Sam's Club to order a cake I was told that it was to late. Okay I excepted 3 days isn't enough time. But today I was told that 9 days isn't enough time to order a cake.

I frequent this location often. However, on Friday I experienced the worst customer service. I happened to go into store during the time scheduled for Business Owners. I was totally oblivious to this but as I was at the cashier I was told I couldn’t purchase my two items and would either have to wait 20 minutes for Open Shopping or was encouraged to pay an additional $30 to upgrade my membership to allow me to shop. I opted to wait the twenty minutes. While doing this I observed cashiers lesisurely talking and laughing with no customers in the lines. I feel I could’ve been given an exception and allowed to purchase my 2 items.

Update - I received a call from store manager Eric. We had a really good conversation along with a promise to make things right (honor sale prices).I appreciated Eric caring enough about the customer and his team to learn about the challenges I had and take the necessary steps to improve through proper coaching.Well done Eric.——————-Tried curbside pickup today. Placed order at 9AM. Only available pick-up was between 6-7PM. Called store at 7:30 because the order still showed as pending. No one answers the phone. Rang for 5+ minutes before being disconnected. Went to store. Order not ready, I was told there were 2 more items that needed to be pulled. Now 8:05PM - no order yet. 11+ hours to pull 7 items together… and it’s still not ready.

I shop almost exclusively with order pickup, and I'm not sure what happened but the quality of the pickup service has declined drastically, to the point that we are probably not renewing our membership.As I write this I've been sitting in my order pickup space for almost 20 minutes. In that time frame I have seen only one employee bring one pickup order out to a customer.Last week, we waited a very long time too. We got home only to realize we were missing approximately half our order. We had to return to the club and shop for it. It was a colossal waste of time.Recently I had problems with the app and went inside to check in (because customer service only answers the phone about 5 percent of the time). There were multiple employees in the pickup area not serving pickup orders, though the pickup lot was full. It's just very frustrating. I'm not sure who is managing this department, but they're doing a piss poor job. This is a service I pay for as part of my membership, and it needs to be better.

This is for all Sam's Club! They discontinued salmon dog food because of a salmonella problem. Tried to contact customer service to see if they would ever sell it again. Got nowhere from some foreign person who couldn't speak English!

The shopping experience is really good. The store is very clean and lots of employees around to help you with any questions. However have had many issues with the food court. Have gone there many times at least an hour before the food court closes and they are all out of everything and the machines are all cleaned and won't sell you much other than a pop and slice of pizza that has been out for a while. When they do have food they take a while to service each person. One time it took them 5 minutes to make 1 brownie sundae for someone in line. Speed of service is not very fast.

Great prices but the lady that always demands I show my card when I first walk in? Kinda rude attitude. I know it’s her job but she’s not very friendly. It’s also very busy here.

I went to Ypsilanti 's Sam's and they were out of the Muddy Battery powered hand warmers. I talk to customer service and they told me Canton had 76 of them. Just to be sure I called this store (Canton) and they assured me they indeed had 76 Muddy Hand Warmers. So I made the 20 mile trip farther from home to this store to get a pair. Well I could not find them so I asked. A nice lady directed me to a manager lady who seemed very helpful for a minute. We went to the shelf and none there. She then led me to an aisle near back of the store where sure enough there were 76 hand warmers 2 shelves up. This is when the help stopped. She told me she would NOT get them down. I would have to wait until next day. Remember I drove 45 minutes to get here. So I was supposed to make an hour and a half round trip the next day to get 2 hand warmers when I was already there tonight. That is not going to happen. I have a Costco membership and I will let you guess which one will get renewed. It will not be Sam's and their unhelpful manager.
