School of Rock Canton offers in-person and online music lessons for students of all ages, including programs, camps, and workshops for toddlers, kids, teens, and adults. The school makes learning music fun and fosters a strong community of musicians. It is known as a leader in performance-based music education, combining one-on-one lessons in drums, bass, keyboard, vocals, and guitar with group practices. From the first day, students learn to play music and have opportunities to perform live at local venues. The experienced instructors are local musicians who use the School of Rock Method and personalized lessons to help students grow their skills. Many students appreciate the supportive and safe environment, which encourages self-expression and talent development. One parent shared that their daughter has grown in ability and professionalism over three years, and the school helped her during the Covid shutdown by providing a safe space to continue practicing and performing. Another student, who transitioned from ice dancing to music, has enjoyed singing and guitar lessons, now performing with the House Band at gigs across Detroit. The owner and staff are highly supportive, making a positive impact on students' lives and creating a community where young musicians can thrive.
We love School of Rock! Started with a free Rookies session and have now been coming for almost a year now. My kid has benefitted from both Rookies and 1:1 lessons. He has increased his love of music, rhythm and is learning technique.

My son is level 3 AuDHD, his instructor, Riley, was incredibly patient and good natured with him. Riley helped my son enjoy the structure of breaking down and learning the keys to a song by one of his favorite bands. My boy is so excited to get a keyboard of his own to practice his 'homework'
