If you are anywhere near Canton, this is THE PLACE to go for any type of gathering. Hyder was just awesome! He communicated a lot and responded quickly to all inquiries. The place itself is chock full of things to do, and the food was good. It was about $75 per person for a 3-hour party, and well worth every dollar! My team had a great time eating, drinking, throwing axes (not at each other, thankfully!), beating each other up in bubble soccer and showing their expertise in football bowling. There is so much to do. If you need somewhere for a teambuilding, I would highly recommend seeking out Tailgate and talking to Hyder.

We hosted our annual company Christmas party here, and the experience was incredibly disappointing. I booked the event months in advance (in September), yet when I called to confirm in December, they claimed we weren’t on their books and blamed me—even though I had messages proving otherwise. Management was unhelpful and unprofessional throughout.
The issues didn’t stop there. The food was awful—pizza that tasted like cardboard—and they had no dairy-free or gluten-free options despite knowing our needs. The bartender admitted he didn’t know how to make basic drinks and refused to serve us liquor.
Overall, the poor communication, terrible food, and lack of competence made for a bad experience. We won’t be returning.

Had my sons birthday there. Fun time for the boys. the young lady that helped us was nice. I rated it a 3.5 because the pizza was not good at all & the slices were definitely not enough to feed a group of 10 boys. Overall experience was ok.

Very bad never do a party there. I booked for my son yesterday the manager was very unpleasant he was rushing my boys to the activities because they wanted to close early because he made other commitments very unprofessional. He was rushing for everything for them eating also. Took the full amount of money but service sucks.
Update
People they also lie when it comes to they will help you out after reviewing these feedback. The manager calls says he like to help and really never does nothing. Very upsetting.

My friends surprised me with axe throwing here on a Saturday night for my birthday and I will be happy to say that none of us will ever come back here. I don’t like leaving negative reviews but this place deserves it. We walked in and there was hardly anybody there, no one to greet us. Staff seemed like they literally could care less that we were there. Took forever to order just a can of beer. They did not teach us anything about axe throwing, didn’t tell us any rules or anything (which I consider a huge safety risk), luckily most of us have done axe throwing before so we somewhat knew what to do. The boards were a mess. Even though we weren’t happy, we still asked if we could pay to play for another 30 minutes (it was 7pm) and were told sternly “NO we are closing!”. My group had to figure out what to do next because we had only been there for 30min and had planned to be there for a while having fun. As we were walking out the guy literally was right there closing the door on us saying “ok goodbye!” And closed the place up. It literally says they are open till 10pm. Overall this place is a major waste of time and money. Even the pictures they took of us you can clearly see how much they wanted us out of there.

The are some fun activities but the staff seemed like they would rather be anywhere else in the world. It was very uncomfortable and our group felt like we were an inconvenience (even though the place was pretty much dead for a weekend night.) The bar opened and closed several times throughout the span of our “play time.” The manager would tell us “it’s open” but then the attendant who was sitting at the bar, playing on their phone, kept telling us it’s “not”, while very awkwardly starring at us before we walked away. Very confusing and frustrating.
The manager was very apologetic, and seemed very sincere about it, which was nice. Although, even with the apologies, our group decided to leave and find somewhere else to go. We won’t be returning.

This place should not be called "tailgate" garage. We went there with a large group of people for beers on a Friday night, and we were informed by the employees working the food booth that the bar was closed for the night. We asked why and nobody had any idea. Then we asked to speak with the manager/owner? and he told us the register was broken but they were working on it. He then proceeded to hide from us the rest of the night. There was plenty of staff there, all of whom were great, (and other registers for that matter) but the manager on the other hand wasn't friendly or helpful. Definitely not the way to run a business where you want return clients. You advertise beer specials all over you website and building, and then randomly close the bar a bunch of adults came to. I hope you don't expect them to ever return, not that the manager seemed to care one way or another.

Went for a date night, and it was a serious let down. We did axe throwing and fowling.
The axe throwing area was super cramped, and we had to have “supervision” during the entire 30-min session. The owners presence was really off-putting by just standing behind us and watching us until we said something. Then a few minutes later there was another employee just assigned to watch us for some reason. I’ve been axe throwing plenty of times before and I’ve never had an experience where someone needed to watch us like we’re children (we’re 34 and 30 respectively).
We finished up and went to fowling for our next reservation, which was a bit better. The fowling area was large enough for three different parties, however the footballs were some type of rubber and super deflated (less than 5 PSI). Luckily we didn’t need employee supervision for throwing footballs, which felt like a win.
Drinks (soda) are $3 for a small cup and honestly I would avoid the food selection, since it seems like they only have a deep fryer and microwave. The actual bartender was off for the day, so someone was filling in who could be best described as a person who’s never seen an alcoholic drink before.
All in all this place felt like a weird mesh of activities that were either rushed or not fully fleshed out. Prices seemed too high for what was offered, and we opted to not play any video games due to the crazy prices for games. You could easily go through a $20 game card in 10-min, and the selection of games did not match the price.
This is a one and done experience for us, and I hope the owner or management make some changes to make this place run better, since the concept itself is awesome.

I don’t really know what else to say than, underwhelming. I came here for a stop of my bachelor party, thinking that it would be a good spot to have some drinks, and do some activities before starting the late night fun, and was extremely disappointed. Not only did Virtual Reality did not work, a lot of the arcade games were out of service. The pictures that are online do not look like what it feels like once you are in the building.

It's was ok, little pricey compared to other places that do the same venue. It was fun over all I would go back.

Nice, clean. Fun event space for the family. They close at 10 pm so if you're doing any of the games the machine turns off at 10 pm......

Had a great experience at Tailgate Garage where my high schooler had a birthday hangout with a group of her friends. Honestly I have driven by the place so many times on MI ave and had no clue what it was. Glad I found it! The owner Hyder was so patient with me through all of my 4 calls trying to figure out how I should plan and coordinate and book the time slots for the activities etc. There is plenty of fun activities to do for kids, teens and adults. On the day of the event, Devontay the manager, Alyssa the floor associate and Eden the bartender were all great to work with and so helpful. The kids had a blast! Highly recommend!
