I was helped by Yasmeen and Nia and they’re were so incredible kind and helpful and I didn’t feel judged at all or as if I was bothering them. They were so so kind to me and I left feeling really good. Such helpful and kind people.

I booked the salon with Grace out of a whim because my old stylist wasn’t available. I showed her an inspiration picture but told her to give it her twist and I love it. Fresh and clean for the new year. I’ll definitely be back.

I cannot believe I was treated so badly. I booked with Lexi who usually does my hair for over 1 year now. I booked before the storm that flooded the parking lot. I was called twice to make sure I rebooked with her at the Livonia store. They reassured my appointment would be fulfilled but it was the same day as my 55th birthday dinner party. I accepted. When I got to my appointment I was told by Lexi that the Livonia store was forcing her to take their customers over her clients. I complained about that to both managers. The managers told me someone else would have to take care of me. I told them I was already booked with my stylist. They were not happy I turned their offer down. I felt bad and asked anyone else could do my hair and another my makeup the others refused. One took an hour to clean her workstation and sit and talk with another coworker who was getting her hair braided by another stylist. By then my dinner party was less than an hour for time. I let Lexi know I had to leave. I rebooked with her then she text me to say she can no longer service me because my complaints would hurt her personal brand. She also stated I was unfair to a coworker who had to do my hair a long time ago when Lexi wasn't available. Lexi told me personally that coworker was racist towards her. I informed Lexi that coworker may be jealous but not racistThe unnamed coworker did do a lousy job on my hair because I was her Lexi's client. It's also not fair that Lexi sent me a text telling me to find another Salon other than Ulta store that has been good to me for years even at Westland Mall. I don't understand why I was treated like this because she has issues with others. Now, I feel too bad to complain to the Canton Managers after this. Most of all, I cannot believe I had to go to my 55th birthday party at a classy piano bar with my hair in a messy bun and no makeup.

Overall I felt like the cashier filling my order was annoyed that I arrived early. Online says “usually takes 2 hours” not mandatory two hours. After all I only had three small products. I decided to come early after grocery shopping & try my luck. I wish I hadn’t because she was short and the customer service felt blasé. I was going to tell her if she was busy I could return on my lunch break, but she took off to fill the order.I wasn’t rude & definitely didn’t rush her, as I’m the one who’s early.I’ll just shop in store normally next time. I actually would have had it not been for the $10 off 40 online deal. Apparently at pick up they are supposed to go over your order with you make sure everything is what you wanted & correct. That definitely didn’t happen. Sometimes I walk away from interactions where I know I was kind, wondering why I didn’t receive the same energy. Makes me wonder if my skin color affected how that person treated me/how they delivered customer service.
