Splash pad is NOT free… not worth the money for such a small splash pad

It's a good place to go when wanting to get out and go somewhere but that's not far. I've been on the hiking trail several times very nice indeed. They also have disc golf course

This park has a lot to offer. There's four ball diamonds, a few play structures in different locations, a couple tennis courts, some basketball courts, a soccer field, a community pool, sledding hill, and a disc golf course/walking trail.By the bigger ball diamonds, there's a few older play structures for children to enjoy. The bathrooms available need a lot of work unfortunately. The tennis courts and basketball courts are located in a different area of the park than the rest. They're in good condition but located to the left of the Fire Department. I would say they're still part of the park due to the play structures located near it.The soccer field is located near the front of the park. You'll see it as soon as you turn onto the drive to your right. During soccer season, several families and teams come out to play! The pool is clean and a great way to cool off during the summer. Friendly staff there! There's also a free splash pad connected to the community pool! The sledding hill is a great way to enjoy the winter! It's very steep on all sides except the one closest to the street. Over time, the hill becomes so icy that it's dangerous to climb! One of the disc golf baskets are on top of the hill too. Those that play during the summer, will skip the hill so you can enjoy sledding during the winter! The disc golf course/walking trail is beautiful! The groundskeepers do an excellent job at mowing and keeping the trails clear! If you're there to walk, make sure you watch out for those that are playing disc golf. If you're there for disc golf, watch out for those who are walking. During spring and fall, you'll see students from Cass City High School, running through the trails too, so watch out for them! I play a lot of disc golf and this is definitely a 4-star course! No tee-pads, yet. I've talked with some of the guys who head up the course and the plan is to get tee-pads in, this year (2022). There's not a lot of brush along the ground/trails, so it's easier to find your discs when thrown into the woods. There's a league that plays on Thursdays, when the weather is nicer, and on every other Sunday, during the winter. If you haven't ever tried disc golf, this is a great course to start learning! The park is shared with the school too! You'll see the Cass City football field with the track and a few more ball diamonds used by the school. This park is also the home of many events during the summer. Be on the lookout for when these events take place because they are a ton of fun!If you're into the online phone game, Pokemon Go, this park is a hot spot for that game. I have a friend that plays it a lot and he always comes out to walk around.Overall, this park does has some things that need a little work but, for the most part, it's a wonderful park to enjoy with family! I would recommend this park to anyone!

Would have been a five if the concession stand would have been open for the ball tournament.
