My husband brought our boat to this place to fix the motor. They never fixed it, yet still charged us $1200. When the boat was brought back to the shop, they tried to tell my husband that it wasn't covered under their warranty. My husband explained that they did NOT do as they claimed, so therefore it is. The boat still did not get fixed. In fact, they gave it back to us in worse condition. If I could give zero stars, I would!

I did in fact reach out to this company to try to resolve the issues. They are unwilling to resolve anything. I informed him that my review would continue to stand.

Had a wonderful service experience with Offshore Enterprises. The maintenance to the Mercury 150 outboard was very fairly priced, prompt, and extremely professional. Will definitely be using them again.

UPDATE - Listen, Don is the real deal. Great guy, great business owner and beyond reasonable.I moved to Rockford 2 summers ago and needed his help with my boat immediately. He was sympathetic with my situation even though he was SWAMPED with work, but still moved my work to the top of the list and got my boat repaired in 48 hours.Fast forward to today (5/20/22). Let's just say that I messed up and Don could have raked me over the coals because that's what my contract stated.Instead, Don worked with me to come to reasonable terms.As long as he's in business, I'll continue to bring my boat business to Don.

I brought my new boat there thats been sitting for 10 years to get checked. They put in a new impeller , water pump , fuel pump cleaned all fuel lines, cleaned out bad gas and changed all fluids. They are really experienced and great to work I would recommend Offshore to anybody

I brought my boat there three times for the same issue and it was never resolved. When I brought it there last fall and picked it back up it ran worse than when I dropped it off.... However I think this was more of a situation where the problem isn't just fixable due to the boat type and availability of parts. That being said they should have said that they just can't fix it and I should go somewhere else. But instead I spent thousands of dollars and have gotten nowhere.I've put a lot of thought into this review. A good 6 months at least. Good people, just be straight up with me and don't waste my time and money

Since moving to Cedar Springs 4 years ago from Grand Rapids, Offshore is the only place I have taken my boat repair business. They have done a great job for a very fair price (on 3 different boats). I always get the honest truth about what repairs should be done and suggestions such as, "if I was you this is what I would do" and that means a lot. Don has helped me sell a boat and I also also just purchased a beautiful boat from him that he repaired. I remain a loyal customer until I retire in the UP (maybe he will move up there with us... if you have talked with him much, you know how he loves the snow).Services: Engine repair
