The best lys around. Knowledgeable, friendly staff able to offer lots of help. Loads of special yarns, many of them environmentally friendly. Unique teas and honeys. I visit every time I am up north.

I was not impressed with this knit shop. The yarn selection is minimal and the sock yarn they had was really pretty. i wanted to buy some but was told it was only for the knit club. The lady wouldnt let me buy any. So i drove 2 hrs for nothing. I wont be back very disappointed.

Staff was nice, but I was dissapointed in the prices and the lack of brand variety. Everything seemed very expensive. I was on vacation and to me this is not a shop to visit on vacation.

We visited this store yesterday while visiting northern Michigan on vacation. The shop is beautiful, well curated, a knitter's dream. Yarns that you don't see at every shop but something for every project you would want to make. Notions, bags, a few non-knitting items. Plenty to choose from but not overwhelming. It was just right. I could have sat down and knit all day. They have their own yarn club that is a great souvenir but really a great product. Yarns, choice of patterns, stitch marker all based on local places. Examples were on display in the shop and were gorgeous. A different dyer each month keeps it interesting. The shop owner was friendly and helpful. She directed us to a few local places we didn't have on our itinerary. She greatly enhanced the experience on our vacation. I know this is a long review. This shop is that good. Worth the trip!

This store has SO many options for wool and crafting! They also host the local knitting club and have pattern books with plenty ideas to get creative. They also sell pins!
