I went to a 5/3 Branch office in Clinton Twp. Mi. to close my acct. because of a much better C/D rate at another bank. I was told they would have to give me a Cashiers Check because of the high dollar amount and charge me 8.00 for it. I told them to give me cash and they said they don't have that much money and would take 2 weeks for them to get that amount..WARNING PEOPLE, DO NOT BANK AT ANY 5/3 bank because when you close a acct. be prepared to pay $8.00 to get your OWN money from the bank..p.s. The Bank Teller was very sorry and tried everything for me to not pay the $8.00 not blaming her she was very nice.

DoNOT open an account with this 5/3 worse bank. They have zero help and plan on long hours of customer service if you get anyone. They mysteriously deposit money into wrong accounts. If you are a small business owner they most certainly don't have your best interest at heart. Plan on lots of held checks and no one to help you. Wrong information given that you relay to customers that tarnishes your relationship with the customer. This bank is the WORST BANK EVER!!! Here's one held phone call and I'm a small business...

After 15 years, I'm probably going to have to close my accounts with 5/3 Bank. They changed their saving program to where your savings is no longer locked. This feature where I could only deposit into the account, and never out unless I physically went to a branch to withdraw. This offered great security for my savings, and now if someone gets my password or account information (happens to people all the time) they can now clean me out. Shame on 5/3 for doing that.

I’ve always loved this bank. They have been so helpful. However, when I went in today (which I rarely do), I found all 4 employees with masks under their noses or on their chins. I’m shocked and extremely upset. If I didn’t have a problem that I needed to take care of in person, I would have walked out. This does not show much consideration for their clients!

I have been banking with them for a while. It's been rough dealing with this bank. Today they call the police on me because I refused to go in the branch to withdraw money. I did not threaten them and they had no reason for treating me like a criminal. I will be closing all accounts soon!

Very unprofessional handling their customers saftey during this national pandemic. They would not give us our money, the teller was very rude. Would not let me speak to a manager. When I called the branch she shouted at me and hung up on me twice.

Fast and friendly. Gave me a courtesy call to transfer money to my savings so I don't get charged. App is easy to manage.

Never again. They charged my bank account for inactivity while I was deployed in Iraq. I am with a better bank now that understands our lifestyle.
