EDIT- Knob hill meats in Davison is where you want to go to get the best meat! The people are all so amazing and want you to come back! They blow this terrible place out the water!!
The people who work there are too rude to go back. There was one nice dude but those lady’s seem like they don’t even want your business. I’ve never been more disappointed in a place. Can’t say anything about the food because the people were to terrible to deal with I walked out empty handed.

The absolute best place to go for the freshest of meats and organic vegetables. Some items not to be missed are the chicken sausages, the breakfast chops, and my grandson knows that his job is to choose his favorite chocolates into the little white bags. Eggs here are always the freshest. We love the red sweet potatoes and they are always on our list, when running low, we combine with butternut squash, no sugar needed just some butter and spices and they are more than sweet enough! Hefling's has more than earned our place to shop for everything that we need for the omnivore and ovo-lacto vegetarian in our household.

I went here to find some pasture raised eggs, but they were out. I looked at some prices of meat and everything was super expensive. The place was small and really didn't have much. I wanted to support an Amish business, but for some reason, I don't think they are Amish. I could be wrong, but I will not shop there. I'm going to go to an Amish community instead.

So after going back to car after getting what I need there was a delivery truck pinning my car in the parking lot. A employee comes out and tells me I’m going to have to wait to leave and it will a few minutes. Then another lady comes out and tells me looks like I’m gonna have to try to maneuver a way out. Really feel after I buy food I should be able to leave the parking lot and not be talk to by employees like that.

Hefling's has delicious, clean meats, free of antibiotics and hormones; the produce is organic, nothing fancy, but all the basics. All the chicken is Amish raised, and the dairy is clean and hormone free as well. They do not sell raw milk. Every week, the butchers and prep staff make several different flavors of both pork and chicken sausages: polish, spinach and feta, bratwurst, Italian, ect. They are all very popular!
There are ready-made meatloaves, beef spidini, and much more.. the beef alone is worth the trip!

Used to go here all the time. They no longer carry the amish brands they used to. You can buy millers and boarshead brands at kroger and meijers etc. Millers does not clean their chicken. You can not get bone in skin on chicken breasts. When I enquired about it I was given an unbelievable answer. There is no free range organic beef. It is labelled natural which means absolutely nothing. Its just a buzz word. I asked about it and was told they can not label it free range because it isnt free range and that no one is allowed to claim that. Come on people. I can buy it at better health etc and many other places online. Are their products even purchased from the Amish or are they claiming Amish because of millers chicken. I have lost all trust in this store and will no longer shop here.

organic and locally sourced food. It has been hard to find city chicken - for a buck apiece it was was really good for the price.

I was shocked to see that the steaks are from Mexico. That doesn't make a lot of sense to me if it's an amosh market.
