nice place for no fees and low interest rate cards that are fixed. That's where the pros end... getting a loan near impossible with them, app rejects many of my checks and ATM only accepts some cash and spits out the rest... Also had atm eat my money and took 3 days to get it back and worst one was they blocked my access to atms because I didn't reset my pin on a new card during business hours when I was trying to pull money out for a downpayment on a vehicle.
If wasn't for the couple good perks I would've closed my account years ago.

My family has been banking with the credit union for over 13 years so when it came time to open account I opened an account there also. I recently started receiving SSD after 2 years and due to a glitch with social security they sent 2 paper checks. I was informed that they hold those checks for 2 weeks so I’m still unable to access all of. I’m trying to move and I lost 2 apartments because I can’t access funds. It’s very disappointing that they have this policy. I have reached out and left messages but no call backs yet.

I have donated enough time and energy to this branch; I won't give more other than to relate that I'm very disappointed in the mortgage division of this branch in particular. What a struggle, and that on top of widowhood and probate. Almost free of MSGCU, and I'm beyond ready.

Theresa Russell and Xheni Borova have been excellent resources to me as a first time homeowner.I especially appreciated their knowledge, expertise, and prompt responses leading to the homebuying process being entirely seamless.In addition, I liked that I could complete the mortgage process entirely online (with the exception of needing to go into a branch one time for a certified check).Thanks MSGCU.

I wanted to change some bills but they will not make change if you're not a member. If you cannot make change because you're not a member then I don't want to be a member. The cashier was very polite which is why I am giving 3 stars.

scheduled a payment yesterday for an auto loan i received no email confirmation nowhere on the app does it say processing or pending how am i supposed to know if it's actually set up for payment or not . This app is pretty close to pathetic !!! And so is your customer service can't wait till my vehicle is paid of so i can forget this bank ever existed

Msgcu has to be the worst credit union of all time. They are full of incompetent employees who will tell you something different every time you come. Plan on having your time WAISTED and patience tested . All they do is give and spread misinformation . Tell you to wait weeks for papers they didn’t even send . Have your credit ran for a loan befor checking the vehicle vin first . MSGCU THE WALMART OF CREDIT UNIONS

Nothing location specific. This credit union as a whole is complete dumpster fire. The payment methods make zero sense. They apparently “fixed it” but they refused to make any changes over the phone even though they asked 9 different forms to confirm your identity. I will be looking to refinance somewhere else since they are so horrendous.

I have been a member of this credit union since 2004 and in the 19 or so years, we have had our mortgage, HELOC, loans, credit cards and many additional services. Each time the process was explained and executed with professionalism and understanding. I most recently was the victim of a scam and the call center representative I talked to was without a doubt, the voice I needed to hear that evening. He was able to calm me down and walk me through some steps to see what was happening. I was shaking when I called and when I hung up, I was so grateful for the interaction. After the fact and getting new cards was a painless process. I can also say that my wife's card was shut down after an attempted purchase of $125 in Albania. I am grateful we have someone looking out for our interests. As a side note, it would have been nice to get a call or email that said the card was shut off instead of having it declined, but I may have missed that communication in the whole scheme of things.

Michigan Schools and Govt Credit Union is an exceptional example of how a credit union should operate. Bethany Hodgson is an excellent Service Specialist and went above and beyond to get me the best rate possible. Great customer service.
