I've been to a few mechanics in the area and have had a really good experience with all of them, but I really like JB's. They do have a bit of a wait because it's no secret they are great at what they do, but it's worth the wait.They are knowledgeable, honest, professional and fair.I was a bit stressed because my only vehicle just had an unexpected issue, but it looks like it will be repaired much sooner than I thought it would.Thanks JB's Sales & Service!

Was quoted for a simple job 1100, said cool. They call back a few days later saying I needed more fixes, and already ordered the parts (low quality parts I wouldn’t have put in my car). Made me pay closer to 2500 for fixes I didn’t approve. Don’t trust these guys with a go-kart. 0/10 would not recommend to a friend

After reading the reviews I figured this was probably the most reputable place nearby. My call was answered promptly by a friendly young lady that said we don't do estimates. It'd be best to bring it in. I said I need a rear end replacement and it's not driveable and I'm not willing to tow it unless I have a promise of work being done. Her response was basically 'Too bad for you'. Disappointed at best. She then let me know they were pushed out until September. I politely thanked her for nothing and hung up. It's called an estimate for a lot of reasons. I completely understand that the price may be more or less than the expected. They might be the best mechanics in the UP. I suppose I'll never know.

I was 500 miles from home when my car broke down. They put me on the bottom of their list for repairs since I wouldn't be a "returning" customer. This is exactly what they told me! Said it would be about 3 weeks before they could repair my vehicle. I was there visiting family who USED to be regular customers.

What an amazing job these guys did on our snow removal!! They cleared the roof and cleaned up all the doorways, cant thank them enough! Will most definitely recommend them!!
