I am a good banking customer in terms of the amount in my account but the customer service at this branch is trash and I will be changing banks. The mortgage banker is rude and they hurried me away from front desk without even answering a question I had regarding fraud . What good are these people anyways at these local branches ? They are worthless if you can handle everything online anyways.

I received a promotion to open up a bank account and receive $200, i opened up the account and had them send my debit card to a different address, somehow that locked my account up and it's been nothing but issues after. I highly suggest a different bank despite that promotion. Now i know why they need to offer people money in order to get their business. I informed them i will be closing my account today. STAY AWAY

Tom was very proactive when PPP was authorized by Congress and helpful getting the loan approved. He was equally proactive when it came time to apply for forgiveness.

I have been a customer of this branch since the old Society Bank days. The current team is fantastic. They have helped me with personal and business banking issues with very satisfactory results. It is a pleasure to have an attentive and professional team handling my finances.

No accountability with this company. I got a mortgage through them in March. Because their mortgage officer, Marc Jones, didnt properly review loan paperwork, the process was delayed by more than 30 days. I work for a local small business, and some of the income verification that was provided on the initial application was not filled out properly by my boss. That information was not reviewed by Marc, or his processor to make sure it was what they requested. Key bank denied the application because they couldnt verify my income. I didnt find out about the denial through key bank. I found out from my realtor because he was notified by the title company a week before we were initially scheduled to close. It took 3 days of trying to reach Marc before he reached out to me to explain the situation.

The new manager is very shady. I won't be doing business with him. He does not seem like he knows how to do his job, and he does not listen when he is trying to shove things down your throat.

I received a cash bonus offer to open a checking account. I stopped by the Main Street Chelsea location and was told only one person at the bank could open the checking account... 25 + minutes later I was still waiting and chose to leave.. I would advise banking with other banks that understand the customers time is valuable. Good luck with this customer service.

Worst bank I have ever been to in my LIFE and I have been with many different banks! I have had payments on other vehicles in the past and no matter what bank I am with have always been able to skip a payment for the holidays. (Which why wouldn't I be able to it only makes me pay more in the long run anyways so why not let me?) They do offer this just not for me.. which is of no help to me, even though I was told it was possible 3 times before speaking with a manager who was supposed to set it up and instead told me no. PLEASE PLEASE anyone who is looking for a bank PICK SOMEWHERE ELSE! Beyond all of that their customer services is TERRIBLE very rude, in a hurry to get off the phone and clearly also misinformed. Can't wait to pay this car off and NEVER BANK WITH KEYBANK AGAIN!!!

I've had several accounts at key and currently have two . I took a check in addressed to myself from one of the largest most reputable investment firms in the world . I've cashed checks from them before at other key branch offices with minimal complications . This particular branch decided to freeze the check for 10 business days due to "suspicion" . Forget how offensive that is especially with such a huge history working with key but when this was explained to me the cashier told me that 100$ of that check would be available immediately . With that in mind I sign the check and hand it over . After professing I ask to withdraw that 100$ . Now the cashier says ," yeah now you can't have that" .... No explanation why she initially lied or why I can't have any of my money . Had I known this initially I would have gone elsewhere . I called the key help line to try and free some of the funds or at least get an explanation why I was deceived ... They explained it's up to that particular branch and they can do nothing about it . Needless to say this is the worst banking experience I've had at any key branch . Drive to another .
