I have a consistently good experience shopping at this store. The cashiers and baggers are friendly and quick. The meat department is excellent and the gentleman at the meat counter went out of his way to help me.

Great shopping store. has all you need when getting food or snacks. They have lots of prime here also. I would give this place a 7.5 out of 10. Mainly because you can get food cheaper in other places. Also if you want complimentary mini shopping carts they have them :)

Received rotten lunch meat took it back up there they wouldn’t do anything without a receipt not even an apology. Won’t be shopping there anymore.

The service was good. Things seem cluttered and unorganized. I was in the store at 9:00 and the deli closed at 7:00 but the salads were still out with spoons in them and uncovered.

The in store map is virtually worthless. It needs to be alphabetized.Yesterday, Nov 6th, I hoped to get a 2lb bag of Monterey Jack cheese. There were 2 available, both Stamped "Best used by Oct 23, 2023." I also Ineeded to get eggs - the first 3 cartons had cracked eggs so I ended having to merge 2 cartons. But at least their best used by date wasn't 2 weeks ago!

The food is nasty it is always expensive and expired. The service is devastating, they treat you like animals. I caught an employee jerking off in his car shirtless. Like what!!! The store is never clean and never dusted. As soon as you enter the store you are greeted with the smell of beer and soda because of the can return at the entrance. I hope this helps.

Just had a terrible experience. We've been shopping here for years, but the closing manager this evening was horrible to us. We had a cart full of items, but there were no lanes open, just the self check. We used that as we had no other choice. The bagging area was full, so we began moving our items to make room for the rest. We were berated for doing so, but we had nowhere to put our items. The manager yelled at another worker to get another cart and to "help" us bag our items in a very demeaning way, as if we were too inept to bag our items. She had us move items into a different cart. As we're finishing, she yells to other customers that lanes were open while looking at us. They were not open. We finish checking out, and the manager yells at us about how we moved our items and where we were placing them in the bagging area again. We're about to pay, and she accuses us of stealing and checks the machine to make sure all of our items were there. They were. Just a horrible experience. We have shopped here for years. We've put up with many negatives over that time like understocked items, understaffing, reorganizing, etc. I've even paid for other customers' items here. And to then treat loyal customers horribly and accuse them of stealing? It's no wonder customers end up going to other grocery establishments.

Polly's Country Market in Chelsea is exceptional. I can't believe that they are actually affiliated with the store in Jackson! Chelsea store is clean, has a little bit of everything, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. (They also have the best donuts ? ? in the morning!!!) One time it was closing time and I had just gotten out of the Emergency Room and needed some otc medicine. The cashier went the extra mile and quickly found us what we needed and then checked us out at the register. The only 2 negatives I would have to say, is that the lighting in most of the store is a little bit dim, and the isles are not clearly defined because the ends are crooked and seem to go every which way. The exception is the produce section, where the lighting is better. ?Polly's Country Market in Jackson on Spring Arbor Rd:I will die before I ever shop here again! The return policy is bad as it can possibly be! Which means you can't return anything, even if you have a receipt! Every staff that I met was grumpy and sarcastic and didn't want to be there, didn't want to help and didn't care about their job or who they came in contact with! The store lighting is dim and everything just seems dirty. God forbid you have to go to the bathroom, I wouldn't want to find out what it would be like in there... Actually I don't even think they have a public bathroom. I don't know, don't care. If you want special specific food items, go to Kroger! Kroger is as far to the great side of the scale as Polly's is to the negative side of the scale. For example Krogers is a 10 and Polly's Country Market in Jackson is a 0! Kroger has great lighting, great hours, Great return policy, great floral department, super awesome produce department and they are stocked full of unusual items that you won't find in other stores! Kroger's is fantastic! Go to Kroger, and don't go to Polly's Country Market in Jackson!

The service is horrible most the the people that work there are rude and disrespectful. The food is decent but the prices are higher than where I normally go. Plus my mom works there and got into a car accident and they forced her to work and now she is in so much pain and it isn't fair and she was in an accident on her lunch. They need to fix their system. I use to work there and there was many issues before but them forcing my mom to work after her accident is where I draw a line. THAT IS MY MOM AND I ONLY GET ONE and they DO NOT CARE about her. My mom works 6-7 days straights in a row because they so low on people. And they don't respect her and she has only called in 3 times, 2 for doctors appointment and 1 times because she in serious freaking pain after her accidents and the managers didn't even care at all. I wouldn't never recommend working here or even going shopping here. Most workers are disrespectful and rude!

I generally stop here for my quick trip items. Now updated with self-checkout, which has been very nice for those busy times. Friendly staff. I would love to see further updates inside the store. (Still feels like I’m walking into a grocery store in the 90’s… nostalgic-yes. I think I’m over it now though!)

We just moved to Chelsea. I love Polly’s market, so close to home and has the freshest produce around at a reasonable price. Has everything I need to make a healthy meal.
