Tried buying a bow an hour and half before closing. Just wanted to get my measurements taken for draw length and peep adjustment. Guy said he didn't have enough time. Called Mor archery they said it takes 20 min and they'd be happy to do it whenever I come in. Cabelas just lost a costumer. Happier supporting a local shop write. UPDATE: I wish i could give this place negative stars. Apparently they dont spool up fishing reels on the spot anymore. You have to drop off the reel and come back a week later. “Corporate doesn’t like the idea of paying someone to spool reels all day” The markup of everything in the store more than justifies having some decent customer service… at least I thought. Everything is significantly more expensive than every other store and now they are pinching pennies harder than ever and have worthless customer service. I cant stand the Bass Pro brand. I hope the feds take them down for monopolistic business practices eventually.

Overall good. Nice and clean. But the process of waiting to be attended to in the firearms section is not ideal. I had to wait about 50 minutes to be seen due to not enough employees working in that section - it's not their fault it's just unfortunate that that is how it is most of the time. It took very quickly after waiting for me to be seen and checked out. Very friendly staff especially in the firearms area. Very cordial, polite and just overall very pleasant.

My husband purchased a set of guns recently from this store and asked for a refund before he even received them. Their little "test" before they would release the guns was asinine and the staff refused to explain or help. Used to be a fan, but won't be back.

They don't deal with african americans here, Just down right Hateful and racist.
Especially At the gun counter My experience was so bad I won't tell All my story on reviews, won't do good here. The next time I show up I'm bringing some very special people with me. Then we'll see if you can read My CpL clearly. The manager at the gun counter Said he could not see the number 1 > on my cpl Without explaining how he knew it was a number 1 at all. But that's okay I still got what I needed
(Rossi Brawler 410/45 LC) Got it elsewhere with the same ID & Cpl in less than an hour with no problem at all. Doesn't matter that I'm from Detroit, I am a hard working good citizen all my life That believes in earning what you keep. treating all people with dignity and Respect.

Went in for my first purchase and Les Burgett, the sales person, was so very nice and helpful. I so appreciated his kindness, patience and knowledge. He helped me to feel very at ease and more at ease to ask questions.
I highly recommend his assistance...they do not work on commission....but do get the recognition for what they do.
