I signed up for a checking account online and had heard back. I finally decide to go into the credit union and the customer service was just as horrible as waiting. I went to the window and waited for the teller to "search" for me. I asked her should I go see someone in the office, she said no. turns out, after waiting 14 minutes, I needed to see someone in the office. When she directed me to the office I walk in and with no greeting, intro, she ask for my I.d. I I give it and she proceeds to complete the opening of my account. no interpersonal skills, no educating of the account, nothing. I asked could she open a savings account and she said that she didn't have time that she had another appointment, there was nobody else in the lobby. the last straw was her emailing me, no greeting no intro and just puts "ss card" in the subject. and SHES the branch manager. Just POOR customer service. go elsewhere!

have been a member since 1983. always great service, polite and efficient. have been saved money the one time someone tried to charge a trip to Mexico on my charge card-wasn't me, they caught it quickly and sent me a new card after cancelling the old one. better than a regular bank.

I don't really have any complaints about their customer service. My only complaints are about the APY rates on many of their savings products. CDs and Money Market accounts just are not competitive with other banks (4.3% APY @ Capital One for a money market or 1.0 for a tier 1 and tier 2 money markets at MSU Credit Union). CD rates also seem a bit lower compared to other places as well.It is nice they are close and helpful, just wish their rates were a bit better. This is one thing that kind of has me starting to look at other institutions.

Inside closed on a normal business day and normal hours. Drive through only open and moving extremely slow

Waited in line at the drive-thru. for 19 minutes to cash a check while other people were behind me went in front of me and got their banking done before me.

Well after working there for 3 years and being the best drive through worker they had(but because i didnt keep the line backed up trying to sell products through a drive through, ya know the thing people use when theyre in a rush, dont have time to stop and fill out paperwork, i was let go because i didnt selllll there product, here i am now still a member and recently had fraud on my account just canceled my card, and with the charge that came through it dropped my account in the negative, now because i dont have my savings directly setup to my checking as they recommend but when my card was compromised last time and they drained both checking and savings it too alot longer the fraud got me before i could transfer on the app that dont work on sundays usually , i am in middle if paying for a wedding and after “reviewing my account” i am still stuck paying a fee lol, this place is kinda joke, i hope they make this right but being a former employee i dont see it happening.

We were originally former motor city credit union members until Christian Financial bought them out. Let me say we are not too impressed with the new ownership.Not only can you not get through on the phone, but no one answers their emails either. We dislike their pay bill system. You can’t even pick your own date nor does the money come right out when you pay that bill and we absolutely hate that our direct deposit is not at are disposal until 9:00 am that pay day! It should be after midnight.

Only open in Drive through with 1 lane open is completely poor service. Our time is valuable and this credit union has always been like this, way before the "Covid" excuse every business uses for there ineptitude. Corporate doesnt care obviously. I've been telling my wife we need to get out of this bank for years!ears
