A little disappointed.I had a pick up order, and the majority of my order was incorrect. The way my order was packaged made it look unappetizing. It was plastic-wrapped, and my waffle bowls was crushed, with ice cream leaking all over.What bothers me the most was that one of my order was a chocolate chip cookie dough with several add-ons, but I just got plain vanilla. I'm not sure what happened, but why was I charged for add-ons if they were out of stock or if they made something incorrectly? They should have let me know instead of shoving everything in a bag and sealed it.Also, recommend watching which cone bowl you order because I ordered 2 chocolate covered bowls and got all plain, broken waffle bowls.Very disappointed. It would be nice if I had aarefund or something to make up this unpleasant trip.Sorry, I normally don't write negative reviews but it was very upsetting welcoming my dad home with half melted ice cream and crushed waffle bowls.

My ice cream was made wrong, when I called and asked if it could be replaced, was told “Since we can’t take any food back, we’d still have to charge you half price for the replacement.”That’s a bull policy. If my food is messed up, and I am nice, perfectly fine having it remade, why do I need to pay for replacement?It’s not a big deal that it was wrong, but being told I had to PAY to have it fixed was ridiculous.Edit: I wanted to add that I am NOT mad at this employee, they were nice to me, and it’s not their fault that’s apparently policy.

Not thrilled with the mixing and amount of ice cream in my Everybody sized container. Literally got home after it was made in the back and was unpleasantly surprised to find that a 1/4th was pretty much missing. I was waiting for a while to get my order taken. Half the tub was just plain French vanilla ice cream; it was not mixed thoroughly. The person who took my order was very nice though. Probably won’t be back here.

First and last time I place an online order with this location. I placed a cake order online for a small personal cake over 24 hours in advance for my boyfriends birthday and set it up to be delivered at 11am so I had time to prepare for his party. I received a call the next morning from a staff member named Jayda stating that due to "management issues" the cake would not be ready until 5pm. I had to push our event plans back due to this but thought it could still work. A quarter to 6pm my order had still not arrived. I attempted to call the store over 6 times with no response and still had not gotten any updates on my order. I had to leave the event, drive to the store and explained to the worker what was going on. The staff member made it seem as if I was the one causing her an inconvenience and attempted to blame this push back on door dash even though I received the call that morning from their staff member stating they were pushing the order back. I was not refunded any of the online service fees and it was overall not worth the hassle as the cake was freezer burnt when I got it to its destination. Overall just a huge disappointment.

I don't know what the hell they gave me, but it wasn't a birthday cake remix. So many chocolate chips in it I couldn't eat more than a few bites plus had oreos in and no sprinkles. Was also missing the waffle cone I asked for (guess I should have checked the bag before we left) and my husband's "oreo overload" didn't have hardly any oreos in it. For the price they could at least get the order right. First time and last time.

It does not have small median large and it's hard to remember.I hate it it's really stupid that there is not small medium large bad ice cream

I came in with a group of friends, and we didn't get to the store immediately as quickly as we wanted to, but the store was still open. I think we got in sometime between 9:15-9:30pm. There was a lengthy line, but I was impressed at how well the night crew kept their composure,was polite, and made everything with focus and care. Service with a smile to! Told us to have a great night. I don't always go to cold stone often, but the ice cream is always great all the same as well, either this particular night as well. There were three workers there that night, and I gotta say for the number of people that were there vs. the people coming in. They handled themselves well. From my experience in the service industry and just as a customer. I look forward to coming back. :)

They don't serve peanuts because they "cost too much". How in the world are peanuts more expensive than pralines, pecans, walnuts or almonds? There's a dollar tree across the street on 23 and Gratiot go grab a bag or few canisters of them. Peanuts are "too expensive" so you don't carry them, well no one's complaining about your expensive ice cream, we just pay it. Quit being cheap, you lost me as a customer. Even low budget ice cream shops have peanuts.

Of course ice cream is great, but management is terrible. They under staff and work the heck out of there employees. Hire more employees already

Never more disappointed not only did they not have our pre ordered birthday cake that had been ordered 24 hours before. they told me there was nothing they could do and they had “refunded” me when they hadn’t and there was no management on staff to make things right. As a single mom I don’t appreciate being left in the lurch. As my daughter says “that was an opp move”

Love Cold Stone. Family favorite all year long. Staff is doing the BEST they can with what they're being provided. This locations undermanning issue is getting a bit too much. 1 person working, half of the options unavailable due to that undermanning. The excitement for ice cream quickly turns into a dread and a hassle.
