This bag of molded naval oranges is being sold in their organic produce section. This is constant. Every time I go to this Meijer, they are either out of stock on basic products or selling rotten food. They have a meat counter you can smell half way across the store because it’s not maintained properly. They are trying to make their produce department match.
Keep up the great work at Meijer! It makes me feel better about paying inflated prices.

I need to find a farmers market with local growers. Beware of Meijers at this location at least. I purchased bananas and onions. I went to break a piece of the banana off to eat it and it wouldn’t even bend to break. It felt like a hard piece of rubber. Not a real banana. The onions that were sold in a bag, were mush. Shame on Meijers for buying this poison and selling it to the public. This happened with the organic apples I purchased as well. No seeds were in the apple. So it had to be GMO foods. I blame Meijers for buying this crap

Out of stock on frozen burritos, milk, cheap eggs, deodorant. Produce is rotten most times or very damaged. Bread at the bakery has dates on the first row of bread but none on any of the ones behind. So are they just guessing when the bread behind expires or do they wait for mold to grow on it first? Hours online and the board they put to block the doors on the one side of the store says "open till midnight" but was told the store was closing at 9 today. Save your money and a trip because you will have to go to a second store to get the items you need anyway. Go to the 26 mile Meijer instead. They actually stock their shelves.

I got here at around 7:45 I want to check out and the whole one side of the Meijer store where there are like four doors is not open at all because the manager of meijer's isn't there according to one of the employees so all the employees get there on time in this idiot manager does not get there on time this is put a bad taste in my mouth for Meyers they need to fire that manager and get someone who will actually get there on time

This store needs to get it together. They are always out of stock with multiple items, there's always a bunch of garbage outside, and they seem to have less than any other meijer in macomb. I will say I've never had an issue with staff and that they have always been friendly and helpful, so thats why I gave 2 stars instead of just 1.

Receptive employees, clean entrance and store. Pathways were cramped due to all the displays.
Good volume of customers. Everyone working was smiling and courteous.

Managers are awfully judgmental I'm a 100% Italian and I can tell when I get judged by the way I look. especially when I'm not dressed in a suit and tie and have my glasses on.. besides the bad experience every time I talk to a manager the prices there are more expensive than the prices on 26 Mile. And I know this because I shop at 26 Mile road Meijer for my groceries. And one day I was in that area so I decided to stop at 23 Mile road Meijer and do my grocery shopping I spent 12 more dollars than I would have at the 26 mile road Meijer

Poor customer service. Kicked me out when I was trying to charge my phone while my car was broken down in their parking lot. I bought something and I was only inside for 30 minutes. They're snotty and rude.

I haven't been to Meijer in over a year because of a bad experience. I use to come here once a week. So I figured give them a chance once more. Big mistake. I came here for a couple of good sales. Today was the start of the new ad. Everything I wanted was sold out. I did however pick up a few things. When I got to the register I realized I needed to use two different cards because I didn't have enough on either to make the full purchase. I was told that I cannot do this. I asked why. The lady said we cannot do that here. Then she got mad at me and said if I didn't have the money then I should not be buying anything. So I left. She got mad again and said I should put the items back. With all that said I only have 75 dollars a week to spend on food left after paying bills. I have never had this problem before at any place I have ever been. I guess it's back to Kroger for me.
