We have a woodburning stove. I run my fires hot, but decided to have it cleaned after a very woodstove winter. The technician and the back office said I was getting tier 2 inspection(which includes a video scope) for a 10% discount at $315. When the techs arrived, they said they could not inspect with a video. I called and inquired as to whether this would lower the price. "No". Ok. They had to move my stove, which rests on granite tiled floor. An awful grinding noise, (which I should have immediately called out). I wanted the techs to show me how dirty it was and their first pass had just a bit of creosote. But they made sure to mention that it was "really" dirty and that I should schedule once a year. Ok. But, I used to do my own at a previous home and compared to that, it was NOT really dirty by any means. They were done in 10 minutes. Pushed back the stove and I paid them cash. In doing so, they charged me $300. Thank you. However, when they left, I gave everthing a closer look. The original debris that came out of the pipe was still on the floor behind the stove (Are you kidding me? Your vaccuum was right there and could have sucked this up in under 5 seconds) and then I noticed the crazy scratches on the granite. I called back office; sent in photos and explained what happened. I demanded a fix (Not rocket science, as the stone has to be sanded and polished), but is it my responsibility to do the job correctly that I paid $300 for)? The back office asked me if I had pictures of the floor before the techs scratched it? Ah, no. Supposedly I'm to expect a call back from the owner. Been a week and 1/2. Crickets.

We had a gas fireplace put in. Amazing communication and friendly staff. We will definitely recommend to our neighbors!

I called on Dec. 3rd to get information on a wood burner inspection and cleaning. I left 2 messages. They did get back to me but didn't answer all of my questions, so I had to call back again and leave another message. It's December 19th and haven't heard back from them. Very disappointed. I understand you may be facing challenges or short staffed but it is disrespectful and unprofessional. If you continue to ghost customers, they will go somewhere else. With the lost business, you won't be so busy and then may have more time .

Paid for a chimney cleaning. First appointment had to be postponed. I get it, everyone is short-staffed, that's fine. At new appointment, the tech didn't bring a pen and needed one from me. Might be petty, but when they asked to dump the ash in my field, I called it a pattern. They spend 20 minutes to vacuum the wood burner, promptly tell me that it wasn't lined and was unsafe to use and marked it so on the invoice. I think this was purely CYA so they could move on and take my $300 without actually cleaning my chimney. Now they want to pitch me a new burner/liner, and in the meantime I can't burn in the woodstove and don't think my chimney was cleaned properly. Any way you cut it, over $300 for 20 minutes of work is not a good value.Service: Chimney cleaning

Had my chimney cleaned out ....The cap blew off. Called to have someone come out. Wanted to charge me two hundred dollars.I was thinking since they were the last ones to have removed it they should come out and fix it for free. Never had a problem with it blowing off in the twenty something years I've been here.So I had my handyman come and put it back on and he told me it wasn't securely replaced. Also not very clean for the price I paid.Service: Chimney cleaning

Made a appointment for chimney cleaning and inspection in early Sept 2021 got the appointment schd for Dec7 which was canceled by them that day They reschd for Dec18 which was again canceled our next ***** date was March We need our wood stove for heating our house When i called to complain she said she didnt need our business and told me to F Off I have never been treated with such disrespect!DO NOT use them!!!

Used them for several years to clean chimney with no issues. This year, to beat the rush, I called to schedule in July and got a date in early September. The day before, they called to say that I was the only appointment on that day in my area, and they wanted to reschedule to mid September when they could group several appointments together in my area. Ok, that's well before the heating season, no problem. Then, a couple days before the second scheduled appointment, they called to say they had a covid outbreak among their staff and wanted to reschedule to late October...two months after the original appointment! I called a different company and they came out two days later and did the job.

Clean Sweeps has cleaned out my Fireplace Insert now three or four times (plus repaired the gasket around the door). Each time they were very professional and service was excellent and consistent. They are now on my annual service calendar for my Fireplace and will continue to be. Great Job, guys!

Very positive experience with these folks. I needed two chimneys re-lined and the cap sealed. Clean Sweeps had great communication, got me a quote quickly, and kept me in-the-loop on scheduling. On the day of the repair, they arrived on-time, worked efficiently, and were super-courteous. After talking to several companies who were either pricey, or terrible communicators, Clean Sweeps was a refreshing surprise! Highly recommended!

Went for an interview with my fiancé at this place. I showed up early just to have the owner show up late and my fiancé put a cigarette out as he pulled in. I got out of the car to greet him and he told me to "tell your woman to pick that cigarette butt up and you can leave!" Said I was highly disrespectful and demanded that we left. What a tool.
