I was driving by this DG and I thought I'd go inside to pick up a few things instead of driving into Michigan Center. It was fairly clean. The checkout employee was friendly. However, the greeting card selection was dismal. I don't think I've ever seen so many empty slots--but I found everything else.

Always a positive shopping experience. If there is a waiting line at the check out, it moves quickly. The employees are always friendly and very helpful.

According to blond lady working at 3pm on 4/27 restroom is out of order. There was no sign at the restroom door that it was out of order. Company should make bathrooms public. Having to ask employees for a key give them the power to discriminate and pick and choose who uses the restroom.

So this is pretty typical with the DG stores in the area. Chances of them having what you need, when you need it are slim. Although this one is way better than the Somerset location closer to my house. They all are great for the first year or so after they open, then they go to hell. Obviously it's hard to find a manager worth a damn around here.If you had a list of 5 things, and limited to only buying at DG's. It would most likely take 3 different stores.
