Stopped in last night at 8:30pm which seemed to irritate one of the ladies working there. She made sure to announce to me that they we were closing soon at 9pm which I already knew before I entered the store. Literally no reason for her to be snarky. If she doesn’t like working that late at night she should find a new job. The other lady working was the complete opposite of her. Very friendly and kind. Very interesting experience to see the high costs of items there when they literally get everything for free from our community. I know one thing, I’ll never donate a single item to this location again after the way that lady spoke to me last night!

Decent selection of clothing. Relatively large selection of furniture.

This location is one of the best! Kelsey has the best clothing advice and if you see her while you’re there you won’t be disappointed if you ask her for advice!

There are very choosy about what they will accept as donations. They only accepted half of what I brought to them and sent me back with the rest. I might not have minded, but the attitude of the person unloading me was gruff and unfriendly. “We don’t accept that.” Nothing more, no politeness, no appreciation.

Mom and I love shopping at thrift stores with Salvation Army being our favorite thrift to shop at. We are from Sterling Heights so it took us about 50 minutes to visit this particular thrift store. It's fun to see all the different Salvation Army locations. This store was huge and clean. My guess is it is so huge because it used to be a Kroger's grocery store. I'm so happy it was converted to a Salvation Army vs, say a Halloween Store, lol! There was a huge selection of wares from art to clothes to appliances with wide isles to navigate. I push mom in her transporter chair so we appreciate the wide isles. The location is ideal, close to the 59 freeway with plenty of parking outside.I purchased a like new black cardigan sweater and a nice dressy tank top for when the warm weather returns. I also found a cool flower emblem that I added to one of my purses. Mom struck out and went home empty-handed. Everything was had for a mere $16.00 - how fun is that!

Store manager has changed the return policy for electronics. No returns , no store credit , no sign at counter to announce policy. . If you get item home and it doesn’t work upon return to the store you are treated like the problem, not like a paying customer. I did not want any money back on a CD player with a broken “play” button. Brought it back immediately and was told “as is”. No store credit was offered. Learned my lesson. Trust works both ways…sad.

I have never felt more unwelcome to shop in a Salvation Army… or any retail store to be honest. We stopped in 30 minutes before closing, and were in the store for less than 10 minutes, and were told more than 4 times to get in line or we would not be able to make any purchases. I overheard other shoppers being refused access to the dressing room. Even the cashier was rude to me when I unknowingly inserted my credit card before the machine was ready. It’s possible they have a decent selection, however their staff refused to let us look around. We won’t be back.

This store has a lot of good housewares. They have a huge standard size clothing section, but they are divided by color, not by size. The prices were a little higher than what I'm used to for a second-hand store. They definitely know what items are worth.

I buy a lot of speakers for different projects. Used speakers are always hit or miss. Sometimes you can't tell if they are any good without putting some decent sound through them. Anyway, looking for a set last Saturday. Couldn't find anything I like at Oxford came over here. Saw a decent subwoofer for $15 grabbed it. The snippy woman at the cash register say, "did you make sure it works? we don't accept returns on electronics". I said, when did that start? Oxford always let's me swap speakers because half of the time they are junk. "Oh, they just started that policy" uhuh, and how am I supposed to know if it's a good speaker? "there is a uh plug right over there" ookk, plug it in, light comes on. k, that's about all I can determine at this point. For $15, I'll take the gamble. 1 minute at home...nope, blown cone. guess who is done w/ Salvation army? Oh, and I never just buy speakers, I always bring the kids and tell them to get what they want. But hey...you guys need "policies" for you charity work. I'm done. Just a hint, Goodwill accepts returns including their online venues. I have a policy too. I never support businesses that use the word "policy".

Favorite place to walk around and search for bargains. Needed items for display/ signage for a vendor fair coming up. A clothing rack and picture frames will help

The past few times I've come here around 6PM and they start making announcements at 6:15 to wrap it up so they can close (they close at 7). Extremely rude.
