βNearly every week I make sure to stop in to this Aldi to pick up grocery staples. Prior to the pandemic, they really did have low prices on quality items, but alas, inflation has also ruined this good thing.β
βBest store, best employees, best selection and always clean. I love shopping here. Itβs a far drive from where I live, but itβs worth it. Iβve been coming here for years. Have you tried their hummus? Itβs the best around. Iβve yet to find one better than theirs.β
βThe store was not crowded. The shelves were stocked. There was not a long wait in line to check out. There is only one cashier. She was friendly and fast.β
βI love Aldi's!? I can afford quality groceries on a modest budget here! I control hereditary hypertension by cooking @ home. All my food comes from Aldi's!β
βWould rather shop here than Meijer. They have great prices on quality food! By far the best stuff they get in is the "Aldi finds" we have gotten so many good things for not only our house but for others as gifts as well! Always super cheap and great quality!β
βThis is a great grocery store and deli. I go there for the massive selection of European food stuffs and baked goods made in the store. Warm breads, pastries, filled donuts and cakes. Real baking professionals. And the selection of pickles, seasonings and specialty grains. Need spelt and semolina? Worth the trip!β

βIβve been going to this Aldiβs for years and never had a bad experience. Prices the lowest you gone find when it comes to bang for your buck. And they have a friendly and professional staff so thatβs also a plus.β
βThe prices and quality are very good. You may not like everything there but you just find the things that you like, because the pricing is so good. I consistently go there every week to shop and get something of value every time. Great fruits and vegetables, breads and coffee too.β
βMy experience at Hollywood has, for years, been 99.9% positive. Staff attitude & assistance, selection & quality of brands all βtop op the chartβ. My only real complaint is with the availability & maintainenance of the electric transport carts, for elderly & handicapped customers. The availability & maintenance of the carts at the Madison Heights store is βborderline acceptableβ at best. There are currently only 2 carts available at this store, & both are of questionable reliability. Just this past Sunday, Dec. 3rd. , I was using the only cart in the store with a larger basket, having a larger shopping list to fill. I was two items short of completing my list, when the cart just stopped running. A nearly full charge was showing, but it simply would not move. Iβve had this happen a time or two before, but this time, I was at the back of the store, with a a VERY full cart.As in the past, staff was very helpful in resolving my problem, by getting the only other cart in the store, (a small capacity one), & got most of my order packed into it. This kind of assistance is greatly appreciated but, quite honestly, should not be necessary!! You have a good store, & it would be a smart move to insure that your elderly & handicapped customers are adequately provided for. From other businesses I have observed, it would seem reasonable to have at least 3 large capacity (fully functional) carts available to those of us who need them, at all times. If you place any importance on the elderly & handicapped customers you have, (and you certainly should), please correct this problem as soon as possible.β
βPlum Hollow has always been a market that I have relyed on for over 20yrs. The butchers there are very nice and efficient. The cater food and bakery are always fresh and delicious.
Thank you for being a consistent market for the neighborhood.β
βA bit expensive but they have a lot of items that you can not find easily other places. I shop there for certain things. It's a hometown market with kind people.β

βThe workers at the Troy Aldi's are the best! They help me find items, take me right to the location, and they are quite friendly. It us a pleasant place to shop. The fruit and veggies are fresh and prices are very competitive. It is my "go to" place for the best savings!β

βThe Grove Kosher Market in Southfield, Michigan has no lack of kosher food choices. It is a one stop shop for all your kosher food needs.
The employees are pleasant and helpful. Plenty of parking. The best plastic bags of any store Iβve shopped.
Yes the prices are high. I was on vacation so it was a bargain compared to eating out. If I was a local I would likely comparison shop.
Edit: I was just at Grove again Purim 2025. Again the selection at this store is phenomenal. Freeze dried Estog, Krembo and Achva Halvah from Israel (my favorite) just to name a few. There in store bakery goods and ready made products are high quality and delicious. I could go on and on.
However and this is a big however: their prices are shockingly high, even for kosher food. I donβt know how folks can afford to shop there on a regular basis. I would hope the owners do something for members of the community who have a tight food budget.β

βMexican/latin style supermarket,they have basic everyday products and other specialty and international brands you don't see at most other stores(mostly soda choices and some food items and ingredients) .β
βWeβve had wonderful experiences with the food prepared inside the store! Iβm vegan and, when my husband inquired what was vegan, the person preparing the food was extremely knowledgeable and helpful! Everything weβve tried has been delicious and I especially love their tahini - it is so lemony! ? The Iraqi bread is incredible, too!My husband said everyone working in the shop was friendly and helpful. Weβll definitely be back!β

βI spend a lot of money here. I come in to turn in my lotto tickets of like 100 $150. Iβm on disability they only give me $30. Talked with John. He was making up for this. I just donβt think this should happen to people. He talked with the employee straighten things out.I still donβt like the part where they say they donβt make a lot of money at that store. I just want the truth I donβt like lies. Thatβs all I know you do and I donβt care how much you do thatβs your business. But honestly $100 is nothing today.β

βIt's a smidge smaller with a bit less food variety than the other Meijers in the area, but it's perfectly good and still has more variety (and better prices) than smaller local grocery stores.
They need to reopen the fitting rooms. If I wanted to buy clothes without trying them on, I'd shop online. The employee who was working near the former fitting rooms looked shocked when I handed her the items I wanted to try on saying I didn't want to buy without trying on first. The sign says it's because of covid but come on, nobody has restrictions anymore. Just pay well enough that you can have the staff to run the rooms.β
βAs always, well stocked aisles and very friendly staff to welcome you to the store. Great support staff.
I usually shop for my guppies here. They have a good collection for a Meijer location.. Being a 24 hr center, we usually go late to shop which avoids long linesβ
βStaff and owner are very friendly and helpful. They don't act pretentious or have their noses in the air. This is the only place I purchase my homemade yogurt (liban) from. The thick layer of cream skin is so delicious and such a treat. But the best part about the yogurt here is that when they make it they slightly burn the pot of milk so it adds this incredible smokey flavor that just makes it absolutely perfect. You can't find this anywhere else. If you've never tried Iraqi yogurt before get it from here, you won't be disappointed.β

βReally nice Meijer. Looks like it has been updated. I was able to get everything that I had needed. Last time I was there, pet section was near the food department, now it's way in the back, kinda of a far distance. Only one cashier, she was very good cashier, quick and friendly and didn't get nervous about how long her Line was. They need to hire more cashiers. Otherwise a good experience here.β

βAldi has the best produce , all the time. I eat fresh , so I go there a lot. They have the best wine selection too. I love the bed-in-a bag when they have them. They have all sorts of items for your yard too. It's worth the trip , drop in sometime.β
