Lumber Jack Building Centers is a local store for lumber and yard needs, with a smaller selection than big box stores. For over half a century, homeowners and contractors have trusted it for home repair and new construction. The customer service is very good, with very helpful and the nicest staff who provide good old-fashioned service. The store is clean and well stocked. However, the prices of most things are way too expensive. They offer design services and will deliver anything you buy.
They would get a 5 star but there is always room for improvement.

Friendly staff, even the grumpy guy at the lumber counter. Cashiers are great, and so are the yard staff. A little pricey, but it beats driving into strip mall hell Chesterfield. Good quality lumber.
