The Clinton Inn was the perfect spot for our bridal shower! The room was elegant, spacious, and beautifully set up—just the right atmosphere for a special celebration.
We did the waffle buffet, and it was a huge hit! Delicious food, great presentation, and plenty of options for everyone. The staff was attentive and made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish.
If you're looking for a charming and classy venue for a shower or small event, I highly recommend The Clinton Inn. It was everything we hoped for!

Had friends staying there. Could not get into rooms. No one on site to help. Had to wait a long while to get into their room.

Very clean, well decorated and historical room. It takes you back in time and makes you wonder who all has stayed there over the years. I highly recommend it.

Love this place! I felt like we were in a piece of history. we had the room with the front bay window and I sat there imagining weary travelers in the 1900s arriving. A wonderful alternative to sterile chain hotels. Comfy, large bed, clean room, lots of space. If I could give more than five stars, I would give 12.

The hotel is in a perfect spot to walk to dinner choices and breakfast choices. The room was very comfortable, the bed was comfy and warm on a cold evening and the check in and check out process was easy.

We thoroughly enjoyed are stay at the Clinton Inn. The room was spacious and comfortable. We did have to turn the space heater on a couple of times to take the chill off in the morning but otherwise we had great time.

Our stay at the hotel was miserable. The Clinton Inn promised it would “deliver a unique and memorable experience,” and we’ll surely never forget the disappointment. It really comes down to the customer service being non-existent and the building being filthy and poorly maintained.
1. Customer Service
This hotel costs $200 a night, but doesn’t have staff available for long sections of the day and has no one available to take phone calls. Have a problem? Sorry, there’s no one in the building and no one you can call on the phone. You’ll need to text the phone number tastelessly taped to the front door, and it will take up to 20 minutes to an answer you.
When I had a problem during my stay on the morning of my wedding and needed to get in touch with staff for assistance, it took me over an hour of slow back-and-forth texts to get the phone number of someone who was available to help over the phone. If you plan on staying here, you’re going to need to fend for yourself. Rather than a hotel, imagine something more like an AirBnB, but with even worse customer assistance.
2. Aesthetic and Maintenance
There is some real sleight of hand happening with this place’s marketing versus the actual experience. They describe their building as “quaint”but what they really mean is “in a horrid state of disrepair.” There is a massive split in the front door where sunlight peaks through. Many walls and ceilings are damaged or shoddily patched. Paint stains and dirt cover the musty carpets. Historic tile, rather than being at all repaired, is pockmarked by decades of damage and a thick layer of dirt. As you walk up their centerpiece staircase, you can observe paint splattered across each step from some unprofessional hack’s best attempt at restorative painting.
When you walk into the lobby, you’ll be greeted by advertisement banners, one featuring the “romance package” prominently displays handcuffs. There is just no account for class or taste here. What an absurdly uncouth and base advertisement in a place that claims itself as a “charming getaway.”
This place is best avoided, and It’s a shame because if they started providing customer service (especially a way to get in touch for an emergency), and invested in some restoration (or, you know, just mopping?) this could be a cute place to stay. At over $200 per night, it’s an overpriced AirBnB.

I had my daughters graduation party at the Clinton Inn and they did a wonderful job! The room was decorated beautifully, the food was delicious, the staff was kind and helpful, and Jennifer was great to work with. She always answered all my question and made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it.
