Sharing this review in hopes of facilitating positive change. This used to be the BEST post office with helpful, friendly people! Sadly, the last two times I have been here, the staff was not knowledgeable and most concerning, the congenial atmosphere is gone 😔 Please address the orientation and customer service training for your newly hired personnel. Thank you.

I ordered a package from online and was expecting it to be delivered today. They have the option to put it in a regular sized mail box as I lived in a trailer park and underneath the normal one is a spot for larger packages. Instead of being smart and having common sense and putting it in the larger spot, they shoved it into the normal size and now we can’t open our mail box at all. Congratulations USPS 😒🙄.

I generally got my mail okay but the one guy with long hair (I think hes bald now?) seems to be on the verge of giving up on caring, and I didnt like going through his line sometimes.

The man I talked with was so lazy he didn't even want to check and see if my mail was at the office. Said "probably got chewed up or something, there is nothing I can help you with your never going to get your mail". I see what kind of mail service this is. Not one I ever want to be associated with.

Cause when my fiance went in yesterday to see if he had any mail and the lady that was working was really nasty to him and when he asked her if she could go and check she refused and I want to file a complaint

The most unprofessional employees of any postal office I've been to on all 48 lower states. No respect for themselves or people needing services. They are extremely rude when customers don't speak English to the fullest extent. Staff becomes loud and rude comments are made to the person. Coldwater has a diverse population in ethnicity and deals with unfriendly staff.

The inside staff along with the outside mail servers have always been nothing but top-notch in my book!! They're always helpful and have gone above and beyond any time I've had questions or just general information!!

Shippers & Buyers Beware - this post office folds massive boxes and tries to fit them into mail boxes even though they say "DO NOT BEND, PLEASE HANDLE WITH LOVE". "FRAGILE ITEMS". There is no reasonable way a 20" x 16" box would ever fit inside of a mail box. Please - buyers and shippers - get signature confirmation so that your postal worker doesn't do something unreasonable. It's so unfortunate because I always have major issues with Michigan post offices, and never with my own or anywhere else I ship in the country.

Tidy place, guy at the front desk was a little demanding and unfriendly on approach but was alright by end of transaction. Not quite the small town PO I’m used to, but acceptable and they seem to run a tight ship. Hope to do more business in the future.

I wouldn't even give 1 star but I had to to get here. I had a package arrive from China that took 3 months to get here, this office returned it saying my forward address had expired..I never had a forwarding address. The carrier was suppose to call me when she got back to the postoffiice before sending it back, she never did and all Tony says is there nothing they can do . I told him i would come get it please don't return to sender , they did anyways . I worked for the USPS before and I know what you can do and what you can't, this office is just not willing to please the customer and they are very rude.
