I used to work in the same building complex and would stop by almost daily. I will acknowledge the only nice experience I've had was when the girl (unsure if she even still works here) and one older gentleman who would always try to joke around while you're checking out. They're great this isn't about them. This is about the old guy who can't stand being there anymore and needs to find a different job, I believe it's what others have called the uncle. Every time I've gone in there and he's there it's nothing but him mumbling complaints and not wanting to do his job. He'll give you nothing but attitude if you attempt to ask him a question about ANYTHING! Once when I was here there was a little boy about to pee his pants, his mother had asked him if he could use the bathroom, of course as a another comment has mentioned he denied the distressed child and mother, I walked up to them and sent them down to my work at the time, not caring if they even bought anything. Look I get not having a public restroom but to deny a kid a bathroom is evil. I stopped coming to this 7/11. Every few months I'll stop by, just to see if anythings changed and every time I'm walking out feeling bad about myself because how this cashier reacts to me just being in the store. Every time I vow I'll never go back, but then i remember the two employees I did like, who would actually smile back at you, so I keep coming back. But I haven't seen them and I think I've given up with this place. Today I went in with two scratch offs, the uncle was doing some stocking or whatever and me and my boyfriend were patiently waiting, not in a hurry or anything, we were in a good mood, one out of the two scratch offs were a winner! But we were still going to scan the non winner just in case, they're crosswords, just in case I missed a letter or word. He walks up to the register, already oozing attitude to our smiles, my boyfriend tells him we have a couple scratch offs to scan and he snatches them up grumbling things under his breath that we couldn't quite make out. I pipe in that we know that only one is a certain winner and to our knowledge the other isn't, he doesn't hear me so I had to repeat myself, he stops responding so I assume he heard me. He comes back even more angry than before and throws my non winning ticket down in front of me and goes "why would you give me this?" In a very snappy tone. It's common to scan all tickets, even the non winners. I bought a couple more tickets to his dismay, and we got one more dramatic counter slap with the new tickets. Went to Annie's right down the street after words and immediately regretted just not going there, they have better prices on drinks and she was happy to scan both my winning and non winning ticket later on in the day, even told me to bring her back a winner.
I'm never coming back to this 7/11 until they get new management. He's unfit for customer service and tarnishing the 7/11's reputation. We can live without 7/11 we have plenty of party stores/gas stations that offer better prices and service.

Every time I’ve come in with my boyfriend to get slurpies the experience itself has been okay but the customer service is sexist and terrible. Every time the worker(s) will respond to my boyfriend and never to me. I’ve watched the workers ring up other women and NEVER respond when they say have a nice day or ask questions. But always do to men and are nice to them. I even watched a sweet little girl tell the worker to have a great day and he completely ignored her but when her dad said the same thing while walking out the door the guy responded with a smile?

I walked in and was very polite to the cashier and I placed my order added my phone # for any discounts then when the total came up I placed my phone with my digital coupon for an additional $2.50 off. Well it went south from there the cashier (little tiny man/boy) started taking the discount that was already taken off back to full price while fake attempting to scan my additional digital coupon and guess what NO LUCK! BIG SURPRISE! The little guy/cashier started getting very rude and started arguing with me about him attempting not to honor my coupon after I had already verified they accepted them there! The coupon only lasts for 5 minutes and then it expires! It cannot be used at any other store after activated! I explained this to him and he got Loud and Rude again!!! I almost reached over the counter to beat him senseless!! Instead I chose not going to jail over his ignorance and loud mouth even though he is only 5 foot tall lol. I left peacefully and I am sharing this to make people aware about this location NOT HONORING THE COUPONS THEY SAY THEY HONOR! Along with the loud mouth cashier who obviously has L.M.S. (LITTLE MAN SYDROME) PUNK!

DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU! I buy four Grizzly pouches weekly at the 110 W Commerce rd., 7-Eleven. I purchase four at a time because with 7-Eleven Rewards points, I get 50 cents off each for the first two cans and $1.50 off for the third and fourth cans. This makes the price one of the lowest in the area, especially with the rewards points discount. That’s why I shop at this 7-Eleven (Commerce Twp.). The posted price for Grizzly pouches has been $6.26 throughout 2024. However, today I noticed the final price was $27.77, even with the Rewards discount.
As I left the store, it seemed odd. With a 6% sales tax and a $2.50 Rewards discount for four cans, the total should be under $25. I returned to the store later and took a picture of the tobacco section. The cashier stopped ringing up customers and approached me, asking why I was taking pictures. I explained that I would talk to him after he helped the other customers, not wanting to hold up the line. He refused to assist others and insisted on knowing why I was taking pictures without his permission. I refrained from arguing and only took three pictures of the wall.
When it was my turn, I apologized for not asking permission and deleted one picture in front of him to ease the tension. However, he avoided eye contact, so I didn't delete the other two. I asked for the same four cans of Grizzly, and the total was again $27.77 with the Rewards discount and sales tax. When I questioned the price, the cashier nervously said his uncle changes the price every Monday night, and now it’s $7 per can. Since today is Tuesday, I assumed he hadn’t updated the wall price overnight and reluctantly accepted his explanation.
Driving home, I realized this was wrong. It is unethical for a business to knowingly overcharge customers. Even if the price increased the night before, they should inform customers about the change and allow them to decide whether to proceed with the purchase. This practice is fraudulent, and businesses like this should be called out and held accountable.
UPDATE! When I got home, I checked recent transactions from 7-Eleven, where I usually buy Grizzly pouches. To my surprise, the store has been charging $27.77 since May 5th! My AMEX statement shows 7-Eleven charges of $27.77 on June 12, June 7, June 1, May 24, May 19, May 13, and May 5th. However, on April 28th, the charge was $24.54. Clearly, the cashier lied about his uncle changing the price the previous night—this higher price scam started after April 29th! How many people have been scammed without their knowledge? What other items are being listed at lower price and charged higher when you cash out?
I reported this to 7-Eleven customer service and requested a resolution. They asked for the cashier's name, which I didn't remember at the time, so I went back to the store to get it.
When I walked into the store, the cashier was nowhere to be seen, and the pricing for the tobacco section was removed. They must have received a call from customer service. The cashier eventually came out of the office, looking unhappy to see me.
When I approached the cashier, I mentioned that customer service had asked for his name. He pulled his name tag toward my face with a snarky expression and said, "KHURAM." I calmly asked why he lied about his uncle changing the price previous night. He didn't respond, so I showed him my AMEX statement with the 7-Eleven transactions. He acknowledged the $27.77 charges and motioned like, "So what?"
I reminded him he said the price changed the previous night, which was untrue. He got irritated, raised his voice, and said he didn't have time for this, motioning for the next customer. I asked again why he lied. He repeated he didn't have time for this and told me to do whatever I had to do. I asked if he should apologize for overcharging me, which set him off. He yelled at me to leave and said he

Customer service is terrible I had to reach across the counter to get my drink that I paid for since the employee had it next to him after scanning it. Told the guy to have a nice day and got an attitude right as I walked out the door. This is one of the worst 7-11s in the area. Smells dirty and never a friendly face from the staff. Every time I come here it always stinks. This will be my last time as there are plenty of other options in the area.

I got to know the owner and the employees very well after working at this 7Eleven and they are the most nicest people I've ever met and they became family to me. I hope before anyone posts another review on how rude the employees takes into consideration that they might be tired and people could be rude to them all day as well especially if it

It’s one thing if you’re going to charge inflated prices because you’re a convenience store, but your refrigerators don’t even cool the drinks to a cold temperature.what is *convenient* about paying extra for a drink that isn’t even cold? I have visited twice and on both occasions the drinks were pretty much warm. If somebody were to purchase dairy products this improper temperature hold would probably make them hazardous to consume.
