I found the Bank Manager to be courteous, professional, and helpful. She even handled a matter for me on the phone without having to come in.

I was trying to withdraw my money and the lady wasn’t acting like I was a criminal or something, it’s like lady you clearly see where I got my money and she asked if she could ask me why I wanted my money, I said no I can’t tell you lol because it’s none of her business, but if she really wanted to the answer it’s so that I don’t use my money, obviously I use it more when it’s in my account. This location needs way better training.

I went in here to make a deposit of cash and checks to my employer's accounts. I have done this several times in the past with absolutely no issue. Sometimes, the tellers have asked for ID, no problem. I make the deposits and go on my merry way.Most recent experience, however, was kind of terrible. The teller was asking me what seemed like 20 questions. At first I thought she was being polite and making conversation, but thinking back now, I realize she must have targeted me as a scammer and was fishing. It was that sterile, impersonal kind of conversation that happens when the question-asker is faking interest.She was taking what seemed to be a reallllly long time processing the first deposit. She then went on to say that because I was depositing cash into one of the accounts and since I don't have a Comerica account myself, she also needed my social security number. I have deposited cash into these accounts before at this location, and of course provided ID, but have NEVER been asked for my SS number! If that is the policy, fine, then maybe all tellers should follow it. I don't see why my SS would be needed *on top of* my valid ID when I was making a *deposit* and not trying to withdraw, but whatever.I refused to give my SS#, so I had to take the cash back with me. I was not comfortable at all having to take any employer cash HOME with me overnight, because who knows what could happen to it? I completely understand the need for security and policy protocols when dealing with money and banks. However, I DO NOT appreciate being made to feel like I was a scamming criminal. I don't really know a lot of criminals who would willingly provide a valid ID. I was also wearing a shirt with my employer's logo on it, not a ski mask!This was 8-31-23 between 3:30-4 p.m. Thanks for nothing.

10/2021- This review is for the Comerica bank @ 2730 E West Maple Rd, Commerce Charter Twp, MI 48390. Wanted to open a business acct and was greeted by Daphne. She informed me of the acct details, fees and such. My experience was fast, effortless and completed within 20 min or so. Great job Daphne & Comerica Bank team!
