DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS HOSPITAL! $5,000 for a shot, $900 for a Dr that didn't do anything. The ER Dr didn't do his job. I will never go here again. Every single time I've come here it's been a complete disaster. Left miserable in a hospital bed for a whole week because your Dr's wanted to "Wait and See". You waited 4 days of me being in absolute tears before doing anything whatsoever. Even then, sent me home with absolutely nothing to help with my issues. This place is full of lazy Doctors who can't be bothered to do their job. Dr Cole is literally the only exception! She fought for me the whole time. The blood draw nurse should be fired. This place is a literal nightmare!

I had a great visit 90 percent of the staff was excellent, they made me feel important,I was happy being it was my very first surgery ever they were making sure that I was comfortable, but the other 10 percent was the night staff,,the night nurse's seem like they care about anything, never checked on me and I never saw them all night,I hope that this can help change things, but if need be I will be back , thanks Heath lindig

Awful experience every time I've used their services. Poor care by the nurses, who seem to be spread too thin, and doctors who lack any bedside manner or empathy for their patients. Literally any other hospital in the area is a better choice than this one.

If I could leave zero stars I would for the er department. My mother was in the er for over 10 hours and had to wait to be checked on 40 minutes after hitting her call button. It then took another 40 minutes once they came in to finally give her pain meds. Had to sign out ama to get her the care she needed at another hospital. NEVER GO TO THIS ER!!!!!

Sitting in the waiting room for over 30mins, there is an elderly man who has been here for hours sliding out off his wheelchair trying to stay awake. They’re telling us they are full and it’s going to be a long wait.

I highly recommend finding literally any other hospital to go to.
I was in five days ago with kidney stones and was told to come back if the pain becomes severe again and I cannot keep water down, which I did.
During my second trip I was asked if I caught any stones in a strainer or made an appointment with a urologist. Both are things that were not discussed with me. Nor did I receive the strainer that is supposed to be given to you. Yet the nurse blamed me for not catching the stones?
After waiting four hours in the lobby I finally got to see a doctor for what felt like 30 seconds, he completely disregarded the fact that I have been passing kidney stones, and instead tried treating me for the flu.
At the end when a different nurse came in to discharge me he told me what to take and do for the flu, I told him I’m not here for the flu I’m here for kidney stones and he was so confused and looked at me and said “like diagnosed?” The poor guy had no idea, so it’s not his fault that they sent him in to look stupid, but the whole department is lacking communication skills.

I would give 0 stars if I could for this place I Paid $3000 for my surgery was told that it would cover everything and that I wouldn’t get any surprise bills that was a flat out lie. I got a bill for $191.31. Now I got a bill from anesthesiologist for $120.62 I definitely will never use you again as you are dishonest and greedy. I see why you have a rating of 2.7. I am also still having issues after my surgery which was very expensive nothing like paying a high bill for low quality care.

My son went here because he had a very large knot on his hip and gluteus he thought was from a fall 2 months before that wouldn't go away he was in a lot of pain and had been for a while they said it was inflammation go home and ice it .. 2 months later he went to a different hospital because he wasn't getting better we found out he has a 5 inch by 7 in cancer mass so if you want to live don't let your loved ones go here
Just an update in January my son had a basketball size sarcoma removed and it's really hard not to think about how much a couple month earlier diagnosis could have made his current prognosis please take your loved ones somewhere elce

I want to start this review off by saying this is strictly about the ER department. This in no way represents the experience I had staying in the hospital on the 2nd floor with those absolutely amazing nurses, PCAs, PTs and more.
I came into the ER on Sunday in severe pain in my left side from my toes to my torso. They immediately got me a stretcher upon check in because I could not tolerate a sitting position. They did X-rays gave me pain meds and sent me home. They specifically tell me to call or come back if there’s no improvement. On Tuesday morning I could not bend my left side without causing excruciating pain. It was getting worse. I had to lay down flat in the back of my SUV while my husband drove me back to the ER. He called them and explained the situation and asked for assistance with the stretcher please. We get to the hospital they help me in and place me in a wheelchair. My husband confused once again asked a triage Nurse name Rachel for a stretcher please because at this point i was in crisis due to the pain. Without a beat she said no. My husband explained that he would have to lay me down because I was hurting so much. She simply said, “ok” and walked away. I’m not a person that would accuse anyone of being racist or bias without a behavior that validates it, but Rachel’s tone and facial expressions towards us were deplorable. My husband laid me on the waiting room lobby floor whaling, while she walked away. Not one time did she say is she injured or asked what happened. She comes out and bends down to me and said in a condensing tone, “ I can’t triage you like this.” Through tears I say, please have someone else help me dammit, because you are not being helpful.” She tells, “me no and tells me to take off my coat.” While this is going on my husband is standing over me asking her to help me and calling the ER phone number again. He explains on the phone that we already called and now my wife is on the floor. They are shocked and within 2 minutes a stretcher is out there. There is so much more to this story that would take much further to explain. I want to add that the ER doc was also a bit condescending because he took more test and kept stressing that this is no emergency, while I was in noticeable pain. After a team of doctors assessing me, I’m now a week in the hospital needing surgery because now I can’t walk due to a nerve injury. Shame on the ER staff and their apparent stereotypical attitude towards black people.

RN sedated me and had the Guards restrain me after I explained that I used to be a Heroin addct in 2012 and do not wish to take this medicine... I told them I had a previous sedation trauma so please don’t have any men come in here... The RN failed to consider that I used to take Valium and proceeded to inject me with Haldol and said if I don’t take the Versed and Haldol...the doctor ordered the Meditation based on my fathers faulty testimony... My father is mentally ill and he is comtroling and abusive... I am be filing charges based on the fact that I showed the nurse a lacerarion where earlier my father had struck me in the face... and pursued me around the house..
i am currently seeking treatment for both the sedation trauma caused by this hospital based on my fathers testimony alone... One might ask why didn't I file after the first sedation trauma, but if you Google it.... you will understanding that it is the very reason why I didn't file a complaint... At least this hospital provided me with a female nurse that at least tried to minimize the manhandling that did "have to take place." Thank you nurse for the absense of a trauma memory of a nasty gropy man injecting with drugs... She probably was forced to do what she had to do to keep her job.. I started thinking about my memories of Shooting Heroin, and the feeling of downers rushing into my blood... Thanks but no thanks... If people just listened to other people instead of orders and dogmas I think the World would be a better place...

This place sucks from the wait times for scheduled surgeries… Never been an updated on what’s happening being in recovery for over two hours with no room you think they would have a room ready knowing the surgery is happening

My name is Larry Hutton, Huron valley hospital security officers have no business interfering with a preson that rushes into emergency with a bladder that's about to bust from an enlarged prostate, Sunday evening 1/12 I rushed into the emergency lobby on foot needing to see a doctor immediately and the security guard said I had to fill out paperwork first I repeated myself this is an EMERGENCY situation, my bladder is about to bust and the guard told me calm down and fill out paperwork, again I said I NEED A DOCTOR NOW ! he then told me to calm down and fill the paperwork out again i was in a panic situation when a nurse finally came out to help me, Security personnel are not DOCTORS they have no business interfering with a person seeking EMERGECY medical attention and they need to stick to their job, he basically threatened me with fisical action if I didn't do what he told me to do, That security guard needs to be reprimanded for his inexcusable COP LIKE ATTITUDE.
