93 year old grandmother went into the hospital being able to ambulate on her own with no assistance. For a slight UTI (Doctors words not mine) They have left her in a bed for 4 days only getting her up once and blood pressure dropped. She is now so weak from not being moved at all, that she has to now go to a rehab facility. They also gave her 3 bags of a very strong antibiotic for a slight UTI in there words. The nursing staff has been awful and has hardly come. They have treated her like she isn't even a person. They do not speak to her and tell her what there doing while there doing it. She has Afib and Blood pressure issues but has not been on monitors since leavening the ER days ago. I have been terrified she would die in the night and no one would know until they checked on her. Please do not take your family members to this hospital. They are only concerned with making money!

3caring RNs out of the whole staff. Care quality not good when Maura was gone.2nd floor ICU stepdown rates 1 star. My husband and I love Orthopedic wing and 3rd floor care. He had 6 surgeries on Right knee and a kidney surgery within a year and a half due to car accident. We also love all the Doctors

Received a call this morning from the Patient Advocate at Huron Valley Hospital. First off, an apology, the patient Advocate and I met, face to face, and, at that time, I stated I was pleased that she would address the issues and that a higher level contact was unnecessary. Subsequent comments on my part were addressing confusion with receiving, and responding, to others at tenet health, NOT the Hospital Patient Advocate I met with. My 5 star rating today is for the Patient Advocate who addressed each of my concerns and provided me with a comprehensive "Steps Taken, Initiatives in Work" to all of the matters we had discussed, face to face. Again, I apologize for the confusion regarding updates on what I had reported and appreciate the thoughtful conversation provided me today.

Brought my toddler to the ER as he was very lethargic, limp, not moving or being himself. My husband and I brought him here thinking they could help. Spent saver a hours in the ER and had to keep asking what was happening when we could discharge.

I would give this place a zero. We went in for an ultrasound to check on our baby after receiving concerning blood work at my usual OB office. The woman at the front desk was very kind. The ultrasound tech wasn't rude but she was very rough during the ultrasound because baby was in a bad position the whole time. She was repeatedly jabbing my stomach in an extremely tender spot and said she was sorry but she had to do that to try and get him to move. I was gripping the side of the bed, tense, trying not to cry because it hurt so bad. I asked if I could try to roll to my side or walk around in order to shift the baby and she said no that wouldn't do anything. Now going into this appointment we knew there was a chance something could be wrong because of our blood work results. However at this point nothing was confirmed and as far as my husband and I could tell from paitent perspective, he looked great. A second assistant came in to take a look and he seemed confused the entire time, asking a couple times how to work the machine and just didn't give off confidence, like he knew what he was doing? He was very kind though. Finally the doctor himself came into the room as well. Immediately, even before he looked at the ultrasound himself, he told us something is obviously very wrong here. Which startled us because no, we didn't know it was obvious. I started to feel panic and cry intensely, borderlining a panic attack while they were still pushing on my stomach trying to continue the scan. Once we entered the doctors office, he wanted to know what my relationship was to my husband who was with me, and seemed very put out that I hadn't mentioned it yet (through my tears and hyperventilating). Then he told us of the multiple defects they found and said there is zero chance our baby will be okay and nothing can be done. Now we haven't received our second opinion yet and I can't speak on the accuracy of his diagnosis. But regardless of if his prediction is correct or not, the bedside manner was absolutely horrible. We both felt as though he was discussing the weather with us and not the imminent death of our precious baby. I was sobbing uncontrollably and he gave off no sense of empathy or sensitivity. You'd think being in this field and probably giving news like this often, you'd make effort to at least fake some compassion to heartbroken parents. When our appointment finally wrapped up, I could hardly walk out of the office I was such a mess. This doctor turned back to his computer, started typing and didn't look our way or say anything as we walked out. Again, I can't officially comment on if his information was actually true or not (although we have very valid reason to wonder if he was too quick to diagnose. For instance, he doesn't even know the condition my baby has. But apparently is 100% positive of his quality of life.) We're going to get more answers from a better hospital and go from there. But regardless, it was a traumatizing experience to go through and I would never want anyone to go through what my husband and I went through. It's already an emotional appointment to begin with. Insensitive doctors can make it 10000 times worse. We only went to this hospital because my OB is connected to them and sent me over. I will not be returning.

They call this hospital Death Valley for a reason. I went in with what I thought was chest pain and they did rule out a heart attack but sent me home without ever checking my belly. I had a fully inflamed bowel and appendix. My bloodwork showed my white blood count in the 16,000's but Death Valley ignored that and even gave me milk of magnesia which made my pain worse. The doctors and nurses are cold and incredibly incompetent. I went to my own doctor the next day and was immediately sent to another er where my real issue was diagnosed and I was transported for emergency surgery on my colon and appendix.

I had surgery on May 9, 2023, and lived the nurses looking after me. Everyone from nursing and anesthesiology, was courteous and professional. Nurse Christine was my favorite as she was very conscientious, thoughtful about my concerns/requests. My surgeon, Dr. Tanzman is amazing

Horrible experience with the woman checking in patients for Dr. Noah Stern today. Arrived for a 9:45am appointment at 9:30am and was passed over by a patient with an later appointment at 11am. After approaching the desk and bringing up the issue I was met with an eyeroll and excuse. Based on today's experience I will be finding another doctor. You lost me as a patient.

If I could rate it 0 stars, I would. hospital is very money hungry and has been throwing me and my elderly sick mother the runaround for months. Care is not received until they have received their paycheck. "Dr" Melissa Wiseheart has a cold heart! Very sour experience, drove one hour to get there just to get bounced between hospital wings and waited another hour for Melissa to give us a 5 min appointment and she quoted, "I won't charge ya for this visit" yeah because there is no proof that you have done anything to rip my insurance off with! Such a headache to work with and the patient service is mediocre at best, I know retail stores that have better service than this hospital. DO NOT GO!

My sister, fiencee and I drove 12 hours to get to my mother who I was told dying. We didn't get there until midnight and we're not allowed in until 8 am. At 8 am we went to see my mother and at the Garden entrance was greeted not just that day but every day we came by two of the most evil women. They treated us so cold hearted. They were like hospital Nazis. I understand the hospital has a limit rule on visitors but it was their awful attitudes. Their names were Kathy L and Delilah F. Delilah was happy to give me her name with her snarky attitude. My family had so much grief on our shoulders having my mother dying and we had to every day deal with these awful women. My last night there as I was saying my good byes to my mother because we had to leave, the sweetest little blonde girl with a sparkling face mask who was I guess a nurses aide walked up to me to apologize for the awful experience at that hospital. I don't know who she was but I call her the hospital angel. I don't understand how the hospital could have these women as greeter's at a desk. I could go on and on about how they treated our family. I would never ever want to set foot in that nightmare hospital again! Suzzette
