This location has gone down hill very fast.No one is willing to help and when they do it’s like they are doing you a favor.Very disappointing as this was a place I used to send many of my friends and at this point I’m probably gonna be looking for another bank to deal with.

Walked in and there was only one lady being helped by a teller in front of me other than that no other customers. One of the employees walked across to go into her office and didn't say a word to me. A moment later she even got up to close her door. I was clearly in her line of sight but still not even a “We will be right with you.” or anything. So not seeing any other tellers I figured I would have to wait for the one teller to get done and took a seat in their waiting area. The whole setup is the worst I've ever seen for visibility. (If your branch is actually concerned with customer service that is.) After a few more minutes of sitting a gentleman walked in and the same lady that had walked into her office before was walking by again only this time she immediately told the man she would get him some help. Frustrated by having my place in the line taken, I pointed out to the woman that I had been here first then left since they were clearly too busy to pay me any mind. Meanwhile, there was another lady in her office who had her door open with a clear view of me when I was standing there but she didn't even bother to say anything to me either. 3 people at minimum saw or heard me walk in and not even a “Good morning” or any form of acknowledgment.

Went to open an account and very grateful Curtis was there to guide me through the whole process. He was super helpful and took the time to make sure I had everything I needed, while supplying helpful advice along the way. Keep up the great work, Curtis!

I have been working with Michelle Herron at the Waterford Branch for many years now.I have always been overjoyed with her service. She is truely caring and assisted me and my children with many transactions. We would never dream of going anywhere else for our banking needs! She is outstanding and Genisys is lucky to have such a caring hardworking employee. She really cares about her customers. Thanks a million Shelly!

Curtis was extremely helpful today and I greatly appreciated him. Curtis helped me open a new checking account and made it very easy I love his customer service skills and Emily was a great help as well. Awesome people made me smile and laugh !

We went through Genisys for a heloc and mortgage. We loved our lender but the bank itself and websites are a nightmare to use.We got a call a payment was .01 cents short despite clicking the payment button that automated the amount due. They called the next day making a big deal to access our account for the .01 cent but never told us that all of the previous months payments were all a month behind accruing additional interest and late fees . So for 5 months we were late every month not realizing we were a month behind. Mainly because their site is a nightmare to maneuver in. .We have a couple of properties and use all kinds of payment websites, no other has been this challenging. . I would not use them again.

Do not expect ANY customer service. Employees hide in there office and stares at their screens while there is of customers needing attention. Just call the branch. They NEVER answer.UPDATE: Someone from Genisys did call me today and inquired on my review. She was very sincere in wanting to address it and agreed that it is unacceptable. I believe her. Her just calling me tells me it is below there standards and says a lot about their interest to resolve issues. Hopefully it carries out at the branch.

This place is extremely incompetent. I have had nothing but problems with this place since opening an account. This branch & a teller named Shelley? watched me count money I wanted to deposit. Proceeded to count it afterwards and was way off the mark as to the amount I had given her. When I told her no there’s more she looked at me like I was stupid. With an attitude she proceeded to count it a second time and realized the amount was exactly what I said it was. Pretending to be surprised she said and I quote “oh you’re right”. But that’s the least of my issues with this visit. Wanting to see someone and explain a unfortunate problem I continue to have with their service they simply neglected to hear me out and take what I was saying into consideration the old lady with a mask wanted to hear nothing I was saying and essentially tell me the problems I was having were non existent. She just didn’t want to listen to what I was attempting to explain to her. And that’s really what our society is about these days customer service is a thing of the past. It’s hard to come by. Unfortunately i’ve only had one pleasant experience with a branch employee in the three years banking with Genisys. It’s extremely disheartening when you feel like people will not listen to what you’re trying to explain to them had i gone into the branch wearing a button down T-shirt and slacks maybe my experience would’ve been different. But because I wear a backwards fitted hat a baggy T-shirt and some shorts with Nikes instantly I’m looked at as if I’m some thug. When in fact I’m much more intelligent then they realize. I truly hope whoever is reading this has a better experience than I did. I’m not telling you not to bank with them I’m just sharing my experience.
