If you need to buy tools don’t come here. They have them locked up like Fort Knox and there is NOBODY around to get them for you. To add insult to injury, they walk with you all the way to the register until you pay, as if you are about to bolt out the door. The staff here is rude, especially for not knowing jack about squat. I’ll drive to Troy next time.

As a person in the home businessess, it’s my duty to warn you! ‼️
Home Depot has been the absolute WORST for appliance delivery and installation. What a racket! I’ve had two terrible experiences, and after dealing with them on a dishwasher, NEVER AGAIN. It took about a month and a half and 6 visits from their installers to finally resolve the issue with my leaky dishwasher.
Today was the final straw. They tried to tell me I’d need to remove the countertop myself before they could take the dishwasher out. A kitchen installed by Home Depot, ironically. I told them there was no way they were leaving without it. One guy even attempted to mansplain the process while tugging on the counter and pulling it loose, telling me it’s already loose, which it was not, then he kept jerking on it and I could hear it crack and it’s loose now. When I asked if he had the proper tools to get the dishwasher out, he admitted he didn’t. So, in less than three seconds and with minimal effort, I removed the dishwasher myself. They scurrieded out real fast after that. 💪
I can’t understand why every single person they sent made this seem like the hardest task imaginable. Six different teams, all with the same excuse: refusing to remove it. 🙄 Except that nobody in the whole process really cares that much. It’s so broken their jobs are protected. Unless you’ve got lots of time and patience to deal with this.
Zero stars. Do not recommend.
So now that it’s gone, I get to go through this again. I’m also still handwashing dishes.

No one here knows anything. They have to look up where anything you ask for is! Also, you have to tell them how to spell it. Teflon tape is not the hardest to spell but the 2 guys I ask where to find it had no clue. They are just hired off the street with no training. I will definitely try to find a local hardware store for my needs. Hopefully an Ace is close by

I had a very disappointing experience with Home Depot Rental recently. I rented what was advertised as a high-end thermal camera from FLIR Commercial Systems, only to discover upon pick-up that they substituted it with a lower-quality Bosch GTC400C camera. In spite of my immediate complaints about the downgrade, the staff were unresponsive and refused to address the issue. Worse yet, they charged me the same amount as if I had received the FLIR camera! This kind of bait-and-switch practice is completely unacceptable, especially from a company as large as Home Depot. It shows a lack of respect for customers and a disregard for delivering on promises. If you're renting equipment and need a specific tool for your project, beware—they may not provide what was promised and won't make it right.

M5 and 14 Mile in Michigan
Today I asked the staff member after waiting at the self checkout for what seemed to be 15 minutes why do you have self checkout because everybody within an 12-ft vicinities machine required staff assistance. And no one was to be found after scanning my first item my machine said I need assistance after googling why home Depot has self-checkout it simply stated to ensure speedy transition at checkout which is absolute malarkey there is no common sense way that this is helping anybody. I couldn't find anybody to unlock the riddle of my kiosk and the very first employee I asked had no idea what I was talking about and would not tell me where to find somebody this is buffoonery. I literally had four items I spent less time installing the four items then at checkout at my kiosk I am done with home Depot my time is precious you can go anywhere in the store and ask the common sense question about location of an item and they look at you like you're asking for their social security number. 70 to 90% of the staff has absolutely no common sense and no background or education that has to do with any of the trades or hardware. 60% of the staff are very good at playing on their phones in aisles in dark corners there were more home Depot employees in the men's bathroom than there was in the entire checkout of home Depot. And that doesn't just cover this location I've been patient I thought it would get better but I absolutely dread going to home Depot

This is the worst home depot I have ever been to. I came to make a phone purchase and the two people at the front desk told me they can't make phone sale and proceed to just text. Didn't bother helping me to find someone nothing. And when I walked around and asked multiple people no one seemed to want to help me. It's 7 am and I am near the only customer in here and I am not being helped at all

Please get your parking lot lights working. It's super dark and creepy. Also if they don't get fixed before snow/ice season comes then someone is gonna fall. It's a potential liability lawsuit just waiting to happen.

It is always a pleasure to shop at Home Depot. That last time, I didn't find the prescription safety glasses I needed. Maybe next time
