I came in today asking for a EGGSHELL paint- the guy gives me a can of SATIN. I was in a rush and didn’t double check but got home and saw that it was satin. He didn’t even ask me by the way, I had shown him a text that said “eggshell” and the paint color and he proceeded to mix the paint and gave me satin. With I would have double checked before I left because it’s non-refundable and wasted my money. The first thing the staff should ask there is “what finish would you like?” I mean it’s Sherman Williams for Christ’s sake.

I received phenomenal customer service at this location. The two gentleman Matthew G and Stephen R. that helped me were incredible!! They were able to ensure that it was the correct color, sheen, and grade of paint based off of a quarter sized small sample I had. I will ONLY be coming here for my paint needs. Highly recommended you come here as well 10 out of 10!

Was met with a mean attitude when inquiring about a custom stain. The employee did not seem to understand color theory and instead scolded me about my wood choice. I went to the Wixom location for a second opinion and will never go to another SW again.Skip this location and head to SW Wixom instead if you want a better customer experience

As a person of color, there are few stores in this area that make me feel comfortable and welcomed on every visit while providing exceptional customer service and a high quality product that I rely on for my small business operations.

I went to the Commerce Sherwin Williams store 20 minutes before closing on a Sunday asking them to try to adjust the color of my previously purchased paint. They stayed a few minutes past closing tinting the paint several times to try to get the new color I wanted. I can’t say enough how much I appreciated their efforts. Customer service is not dead!

This store is close to my house and I’ve gone in there several times and each time i am met with the most unfriendly white boys. I’ve finally come to realize that they just don’t like black ppl. Never a thank you or a smile. Always annoyed by my questions. My husband was with me today and he confirmed that we need to find another store, or another paint company all together!
