Took in a 2011 Regal & they said because it was built in Canada they couldn't get the codes. Brought it to Hudsonville transmission and they fixed everything.

I overpaid for a used Malibu a few years back and I’ve had nothing but problems with it. Matter of fact…every time I bring it in for an oil change a few days later I have issues with my vehicle that points to tampering from the mechanic. DO NOT COME HERE TO BUY OR TO HAVE YOUR VEHICLE SERVICED!

When I purchased my pre-owned vehicle in November 2019, I also purchased an interior warranty program (Poly Steel) and then forgot about it (because you hope you never have to use it).I have younger kids and a couple of dogs and I thought that would be a good investment for the vehicle. Fast forward to the summer of 2021 when one of my dogs vomited and urinated inside the vehicle (Yay I can use the Poly Steel!) It was at that time that I realized that I never received any kind of paperwork or registration about the Poly Steel so I reached out to Betten Baker. I learned shortly after I purchased my vehicle they switched from paper to digital and my paperwork never got filed properly. Betten Baker said that they would clean the vehicle while they tried to figure out how to get me registered so I could make a Poly Steel claim. Afterwards the smell went away, so it went to the back of my mind. I did reach out periodically to see if it was being worked on, but received no response. Fast forward to winter/spring of 2022/2023 and the smell returned so I got in touch with Betten Baker and found out that I still didn't have a case with Poly Steel. They gave me the number for Poly Steel to try and see if I was in the system, I was not. Their customer service is terrible. They actually said to me "How did you get this number?" I then reached back out to Betten Baker and got in touch with someone above the Floor Managers. I explained everything to them and she tried to get me registered, but came back from Poly Steel and said that they don't do claims on vehicles older than 5 years, my vehicle wasn't 5 years old when the incident happened! She said that she would get it taken care of or we could come up with a resolution, but in the meantime Betten Baker would detail it and use the ozone machine to try to get rid of the smell. Which it did for a period of time.... until it got really hot this summer. I reached out again to ask if there is a spray or something that they use to get rid of smells, I was told there is nothing more they can do. I requested a refund for the Poly Steel because I paid for something that was never actually purchased .They came back with they could do half the cost as they didn't charge me for a the courtesy cleanins. I said that wasn't good enough because I paid for something that I couldn't use and should be refunded the full amount. We negotiated more and landed on a little more than half the original cost. I don't feel like I should receive less than a full refund because I paid for something that I couldn't use.

We recently purchased a new truck from Betten Baker Used Cars in Coopersville, MI and are incredibly pleased with our purchase. We began working with Brandon and Travis, and Travis completed our sale. The finance manager was on point with his recommendations on our loan based on our credit. In the end, everyone was happy.
