The place was filthy. Do not recommend unless desperate! There were cobwebs and dust everywhere and mold/mildew in bathroom and bottom of shower curtains. The carpeting in the bedroom felt sticky and no steps from balcony to lake. That would be a very nice feature. The tv was straight from the 1970's and the cable didn't work. Some channels had picture and no volume. Internet was horrible. Sometimes it worked, most of the time it didn't. No A/C, only a dirty broken fan. The place has so much potential. It's too bad no one cares enough to at least provide a clean place.

The rooms were extremely dirty. Cobwebs in every corner. Carpeting felt sticky when you walked across. Mold/mildew on shower curtain and a horrible ring in bathtub. The place has so much potential. There were spiders and flies in the room. An exterminator is necessary. There was even rat bait/traps along the boardwalk to the rooms. The board walk felt soft and spongy when you walked on it. Not very safe. We won’t return. At $160 a night, it was definitely not worth it. My vehicle is cleaner.

Well I expected old. Felt like I walked back into 70s. My mom's room was "accessible" but no way. The bars in bathroom are all in wrong spot so she could not get in and out of shower. The TV was a tube set with 5 channels of snow. The floor was filthy, the slider didn't lock , all screens had rips and flies in room. Half the electric outlets didn't work. My room next door was newer...had a flat screen with aps but without any real Internet they wouldn't work. Half my outleta would not hold a plug in them. There were stains in carpet and linen. The rooms smelled so musty. They do not come in and replace supplies. If you want a rough it experience go for it.. if you want a clean hotel...perhaps elsewhere. The people were nice though.

Campsites are smaller than we expected when using the map for reference. We have a large 5th wheel and we were squeezed between 2 other rvs. Also having problems with electric as the hookup is quite a distance from the rv and we keep blowing breakers. The receptor for the cord was loose and when we plugged in there were sparks. The location was great, we were able to drive to a lot of very scenic locations from there but the lake view at the park was taken up by the hotel. For a place to park and sleep it works fine but we were very disappointed that we couldn't use our appliances without blowing breakers and when we were ready to leave we had to use manual crank and manual jacks to hook up to our truck to go home. We were ready to leave at 10 am but didn't get hooked up until noon when we finally were able to raise the 5th wheel enough to hook up. 1st time we've ever had that problem and we've had the 5th wheel for 7 years. Their electric needs a serious upgrade or they shouldn't be changing the same rates as parks that have full services.

The campsite is not bad, but Labor Day weekend was overwhelmed with the mountain bike championship tournament, and the whole town was overcrowded not a big fan of big crowds, the night sky is very

Don't expect a lot. Otherwise, you'll probably be disappointed. The mattresses were extremely hard.

We booked our stay here 7 months in advance for a full hookup RV site, which they made us pay in full for in advance !When we arrived we did not receive a full hookup site, only electric and water. We also found that they did the same to many others RVer’s ! WE would recommend that you try to book at the state park a short drive from there. They only have a few FHU sites so, don’t be lied to like we were. Yes, we stayed for our whole time reserved, we were not going to let this ruin or vacation.

Staying at the lake motel room 22.... First thing you walk into the room and it smells like stail ciggoretts! With a room that says no smoking.... We decided to have a shower after our long trip 9 hour drive..... The shower was less than Luke warm.. mostly cold and no heat at all kept changing from less than Luke warm to freezing cold... The water pressure is abysmal... Fast forward to bed time.... plugging in phones to charge lol they kept falling out of the power sockets. Beds felt like sleeping on a torture device woke up in the morning massively in pain husband bearly slept neither did I....*The good stuff: The lake is very beautiful. Can't hear anything from neighbours walls are solid. Bathroom and room appeared to be clean. Little bar fridge included and TV, not far from main road and local restaurants.

We camped there for three days. Didn't really have to hike far to the bathrooms and loved that they had showers. There was a small waterfall we were able to walk to see n a Lil creek right behind our campsite that made for some good pitlctures!Nearby activities: Fort Wilkins and the Delaware mine aren't far away.

Bathrooms are way too far from the rustic campsites. Only one shared power outlet for the whole section. I should have done more research. Great location, close to main street.

Expensive camping. Crowded. If you have to have full hookups, camp here. Otherwise, head to the state park at the end of the road. Too many obnoxiously huge rigs at Hooe. Can't figure why people need all that stuff, unless they live in it.

It's a cozy place to stay. You can enjoy either tent or camping. You can rent an individual cabin or a comfy room in one of their small hotels. All locations are easy to find as everything is located off of one main road. The views are beautiful everywhere you look. The lake is fresh and clean with a couple of nice little beaches to swim at. You have a couple of different rental options as far as small boats or kayaks. There is a small gift shop and general store where you check in to receive your roomkey. After hours, you will have to go to the bartender at the Lake Effect Bar and grill to get your key. Campers can pay for their spots in the morning when the store opens up when they check in late.We stayed in the motel on the lake. Our room was on the first floor with 2 queen beds. It felt really clean. Besides needing a few updates and repairs, overall, it was a very nice place to stay.Rooms: Cozy and clean.Nearby activities: Fishing, hiking, swimming, boating, beaches, historical landmarks, waterfalls, views, etc.Safety: Felt very safe while staying there.Walkability: There are plenty of places to walk and enjoy the views. Might be difficult for those in a wheelchair or mobility issues in some locations but not all.Food & drinks: There is a general store or a bar and grill on location.Noteworthy details: Unique

Campsites don't offer much room or privacy. Our site was listed as 75 feet in length but it took a lot of finagling to get a 20 foot camper and a midsize truck to fit... Bring plenty of blocks to level your camper as the sites are not very level. Also all of the power and water for sites are at the front of the sites near the road, this only adds to complications of trying to squeeze into the sites and reaching power and water. The bathrooms and showers were nice but out of toilet paper in the men's and women's the majority of the weekend we stayed. If you have a larger camper the sites near the office would definitely be preferable as lots of people were really struggling to get into sites otherwise. Great location but definitely need pictures and good descriptions of each site on their website.

Disgusting, NO A/C. We were charged for two nights in advance, waited 2 hours for room, only to find, Smelly, no A/C. Our friends room had no windows to the outdoors, our room had a small window, but no screen. Dirty rooms, too bad you can't take pictures of the smell. Don't waste your money. We were not comfortable with the conditions, so we requested one night refund, we each paid for one night, even though we left. We're afraid because of my review, our friends will not get their one night's refund.

This is our second time staying for a week. Will return and stay again. Our dogs are welcome here and seem to relax. The sites further away from the bath house offer nice privacy and are quiet!Nearby activities: Everything in Copper Harbor is within walking distance.Noteworthy details: Clean bathrooms and showers. Laundry facilities on site is a plus for longer stays. Good variety of campsites that are open (great when traveling with a group) and sites with privacy.
