Too bad the new owners do not seem to care. High prices, not open for snowmobiles. Never open for breakfast. Truly a waste.Food & drinks: Very expensive drinks. Food is okay when you can get it. Forced to seek other options in Copper Harbor. Sad what the new owners have done. Maybe they'll sell and some one that cares will purchase and run.

Stopped in for a drink after dinner at another restaurant. Drinks were great and looked like we should have stopped there for dinner too!

Nice place but the wait staff acted like he was in a hurry for some reason. The place was only half full at best.

Room not ready as promised at 4 pm. Too bad you can't take pictures of the smell. Owner charged us for two nights before arrival, we were not comfortable with room conditions, so we paid for one night (even though we left), owner refunded me one night (our friends are still waiting to see if they get one-night refund, but we're afraid because of my honest review, they won't get it). Our friends room had no windows, no A/C in any of the rooms. Our room had a small window, but no screen.

Great breakfast but it was the only day it was open. Other restaurants wished they were open more to take some of the dining pressure.

Was served a tiny glass of orange juice and a cold burrito in a to go container. Definitely not the place to be.

The Pines is actually now called Lake Effect Bar and Grill. Menu is pretty close to the same but the food was WAY better than when it was the Pines. Staff was friendly and helpful. Also there was outdoor seating.

Great food at a reasonable price. We had breakfast and it was delicious with pretty darn good service also.
