I just wanted to buy a chain saw blade. Two people were working the parts counter. The one on the left was working on a sale. The one on the right finished his sale then settled into a show and tell session with the customer. They both leaned onto the counter and started to b s.I just left and ordered my saw blade on line. No wonder brick and mortar stores are going out of business.I went to the Hutsons close to my home and left without buying anything. I plan to buy more equipment but I think I need to find somewhere else to spend my money.I don’t have the time or energy to deal with extremely poor customer service.

Horrible customer service. I stopped in to ask about getting my lawn tractor repaired. The girl at the customer service/repair desk was so incredibly condescending that I went home and researched how to repair the tractor myself. I will not be returning there anytime soon. BTW, I made the repairs myself and the tractor runs great. If your tractor needs repairs, do a Google search on your tractor’s symptoms before you take it to D&G Equipment. It is very likely you can fix it yourself by ordering repair parts from the internet.When it comes time for me to buy a new lawn tractor, I will not be considering D & G. “Nothing ruins like a Deere”. I’m choosing to run from the Deere!Update: I took the owners suggestion and returned to D&G a year later to look at a zero turn mower. The salesman was indifferent to my being there and I felt very rushed to make a purchase decision. I bought a commercial grade Cub Cadet zero turn from a different place. I still did not choose a Deere. My recommendation to avoid D&G still stands.

Very friendly staff made me feel right at home. Clean and well-lit sales floor and surprisingly decent prices considering the high-end products available. Definitely coming back.

I bought a leaf blower. They had it all set up and ready to go. No box or packing material to deal with. I left with blower, charger and the manual. They also registered it with stihl for me.

D&G Equipment are rip off artists.. be sure 100% before paying or taking possession of your Equipment that it STARTS and runs.My experience:Brought my John Deere 540 to them. Hard to start, harder to keep running. Opt for "GOLD" service package.When I pick it up. It doesn't start. It continues to not start, ALL in front of the service rep and mechanic. The one who worked on it.20 minutes later, 1/2 a can of starter fluid sprayed directly into the carburetor. Finally starts, and I make my BIGGEST mistake: I took possession and left. What I should have done is demanded a charge back and told them to call me when it actually works.No surprise, next 48 hours the tractor failed to start 95% of tries, including the last 36. So, take it back, right? They'll stand by their work right?WRONG WRONG WRONGSo when I go back a second time to pick up, I'm charged a $82 service fee - for non starting issue. They're claim? Straight from the service rep who watched it not Start before - "...it started when you left with it."So, as I said. My mistake, so here's your warning. This company will find any excuse to not stand by their work. Why? Because it's shoddy and they know it.Do what I did, go buy a cub cadet from Sloan's in Linden. They appreciate their customers and stand by their products and work.

I have purchased several large items here & will no longer. I needed a part they said I didn't have the correct model number (twice over the course of a year). The manufacturers website didn't seem to have a problem with the exact model number I provided to D & G. In fact, both times this happened D & G didn't help or leave the computer terminal. I was able to fix my machine with parts so very easily acquired from the manufactures website. It was quicker & easier for me to get it from the manufacturer than from D & G. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking to purchase & maintain nice equipment.
