Actually, I am giving this Vet FIVE STARS ---but this is an explanation for all the one stars since folks that read those won't get to see my review if I post under the 230+ five stars. This doctor is so GOOD that everyone wants to come here. They can't take on new patients and do justice to the regular one. It IS hard to get seen because they are so booked up, so for routine visits .PLAN ahead. I LOVE Geiger! They are compassionate and great to work with!

I love Geiger Vet but Geiger retired and now they are only taking locals of croswell. Maybe one day they will be back to the way they were and be able to take non residents again.

Decent prices for a vet, but the lobby is still closed with is a inconvenience especially in the winter. You have to check in and out through a window.

I had been a customer with Doc Geiger and his Dad for roughly 30 years. They were great. I recently received a bill for $50 for a missed office visit under the new clinic name. I called them because in all of the years I had been a customer there I never missed an appointment and I thought the bill was very high and asked if they would meet me half way. I was rudely told they would not. They said it was because it was a "missed" medical procedure. Not so. I took my dog in to see if she needed her teeth cleaned and they sent us home with oral treats to give her for a month and they wanted me to bring her back to determine if they thought she should be put under after the oral treatment. They set up the appointment to assess her progress. I also said that a "reminder" text would be nice as most businesses in our current day use this helpful tool. I also told them that I did not know that there was a new name for the business and was quite rudely told that it was posted on their door and on their FB page. With COVID we were not able to go into the building so staff met me at my car to vaccinate my pets and I paid in the parking lot so did not see a sign on the door. I am not "friends" with the vet (nor any of my other doctors, dentists, etc,) on FB so was not aware of the change. I told them that a letter in the mail to notify customers of changes could have been done to which I, again told very rudely, that "short of mailing everyone on the list it would have cost them about $1000 in postage to update everyone". I told her that is part of the cost of doing business. If the new vet were starting from scratch without taking over a business there probably would have been some sort of mass mailing to invite customers from the community. Addtionally, when I called the vet it was because I had received a letter from Sanilac County to renew my dog licenses so when I called to get them in I asked them to update all immunizations while I was coming in and was told they had a "crash" of their system and didn't know which shots my animals needed. I took my records in there so they could update their records. So, in not meeting me half way, or $25, on a so called "missed surgery" appointment Croswell Veterinary Clinic lost a long time dedicated customer. Lastly, the office staff is RUDE!!!

We had to make the tough decision to put our dog to sleep. Everyone at the clinic was so kind and gentle with him and us. Despite how difficult today was, we are blessed for the care we received!!

Highly recommend Croswell Veterinary Services. Very professional and versatile. Wouldn't go to another vet. Hands down best care available.
