They advertise per ton prices you would expect a ton to de 2000 pounds. They figure a ton weighs more kind of shady way to short people. They should advertise it the way they intend to do it.

Pretty damn cool place, as scrap places go. Get to watch them play the crane game on a massive scale with the electromagnet. Everyone really pleasant to deal with, and when you are using them regularly for scraping they go the extra mile. Can't ask for much more than that.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. My family and I were vacationing in the area and had done some remodeling to the inside of our camper and had the old appliances to scrap and they even helped us unload!
