I had a disappointing experience at Hollywood Nails that I feel compelled to share. I walked in hoping to have a broken nail removed, but instead, I was met with a rude and dismissive attitude from the staff.
From the moment I explained my situation, I felt like a burden rather than a valued customer. I even offered to pay for the service, but that didn’t seem to matter. Instead of properly removing the broken nail, he simply used a machine to sand off the top, which didn’t address the issue. When I asked for him to drill off the side so I could pull it off myself, he responded with a dry demeanor that made me feel uncomfortable.
I was hesitant to ask for help a third time, even though I was willing to pay for the service, simply because of the rude treatment I was receiving. It’s disheartening to see someone prioritize profits over customer care. I would have happily left a good tip for a proper service, but the experience was so negative that I won’t be returning.
I won’t be coming back to Hollywood Nails again. It’s unfortunate, as I was hoping for a positive experience, but the lack of professionalism and kindness made it clear that they don’t value their customers.

Very rude and aggressive nail tech that works there. Cheap quality, go somewhere else TRUST ME. This salon and their services are NOT worth it. They have no respect for the customer that is trying to get a nice good quality service from them.
-Note for them to do better because they also shit talk customers in another language and they think we do not understand.

I have been coming here for over 10 years, and there is no other place that compares. Win and Lynn are amazing and my go-to technicians, but they are all great. 5 stars, definitely recommend!

The worst experience for me. There is a very rude lady with an attitude. She is very aggressive and unprofessional. She is the sister of the lady who owns the salon. I was on vacations and I wanted to clean my nails before leaving so my sister made an appointment for me. An expedite pedicure, I couldn’t take it anymore. I paid and I left. I had To take the nail polish at home.

They are very nice. I notice the quality of the gel for sculpture nails is not as good as other places. The regular nail polish only lasts a week before it scuffs. The waterfalls are very relaxing. The employees aren't nearly as loud as they are in 2 other Dearborn nail salons. I wish they would clean it. The clear screens are filthy. They likely need to be replaced.

My coworkers bought me a gift certificate for my birthday. I drove 25 minutes to come and get my nails done for an event and was told to come back in an hour. I inquired if an appointment was needed and was told no, they were just busy. There were only two customers at that time in the salon. I read the bad reviews before coming but was hoping that it was just a one off experience. The initial greeting was cold and she didn’t even seem to care about having my business or finding a compromise. I will be giving the gift card back and I wouldn’t recommend this nail salon to my worst enemy.

All I wanted was a Shellac SQUARE Fill in, the lady did “square oval” I expressed to them that I didn’t like the shape & they were bumpy the lady said verbatim “do your own nails” & when I spoke to the manager I was going to leave a review he said “we don’t care” highly DONT RECOMMEND especially for sanitation purposes!!

Been to this place many times in the past. The owner Benny does a decent job when he is not answering the phone or greeting customers. Today I had his wife. Not at all friendly did not greet me or smile. Very cold and sullen like she did not want to be there. Quick job will not be going back. There are too many other places to give my business too.

Went there today for a pedicure. Had the owner's wife. sullen and not at all friendly. Did not smile or greet me. To be honest I don't think she wanted to be there. Talking on her phone while servicing me. Very fast job. Will not be back too many other salons in the area to have this type of service.

Nope. she cut my skin open on both my thumbs still cracking and in pain. That and she cut my nails before asking me what length I wanted. Won’t be back zero stars that’s for sure.
