I've been interning at the step store for a year now, and let me tell you…I did think I would give up the first day, however I ended up making it through the best decision I've ever made. I work with the best skills trainers and co-workers I couldn't have asked for a better atmosphere to work at. My favorite day is Mondays because it consists of nonstop challenges that make your abilities stronger.Thank you, Angelique And -Margaret, for being such beautiful humans , thank you for allowing me the opportunity to work at the store, it means a lot, thank you for seeing the capabilities in me when no one else would.Love SylvanaBachir

This is such an incredible business that provides employment for adults with developmental disabilities, and we are so very fortunate to have such a place in our community. I love going in here, all the employees are always so friendly, have such a great sense of humor, they are always so honest, and have such a great work ethic. Even when I don't find anything, I never leave with the feeling of being empty-handed

This is one of my favorite go-to Thrift store. Not because of the reasonable prices. But the " Great staff! They're always helpful, cheerful and very detailed. This place gives back to the community and assist people with disabilities remain in the workforce and gain sense of independence. So you see where or how the money you're spending is allocated with this thrift store and program.

i went today and all of the workers were autistic but that’s not what matters because they were doing a fantastic job and some other lady that works there she was wearing a blue sweater kind of hispanic looking i think she was the manager but she was being extremely rude to her coworkers on the spectrum and talking to them in a very blatant disrespectful manner, it was very shocking and disturbing to say the least listening to this non sense while customers are shopping nearby. do better treat your workers with respect!!
