They should not have any stars period. My mother, aunt, and brother were coming in to town from another state to visit me in Michigan. They were 4 hours away from me and my mother's truck had a ABS Light appear. The truck would not move. My mother called AAA and they told her that her and my Dad's membership was canceled. My mother was confused because the bill is always paid for and they just received the monthly magazine. My aunt called since she has the classic membership. (I have the same membership). The first call said it would be a longer wait time then usual. When the rep came on the phone they asked the usual questions. Once my aunt told them that they were stuck in Louisville the lady said oh I need to transfer you to the Kentucky line. Once transferred it said main menu so my aunt had to start back over. Once a rep picked up the 2nd time, same procedure of questions and once again my aunt said we are stuck in Louisville and the rep said let me transfer you to the Kentucky Line. We were just transferred SMH. The 3rd and final attempt another rep came on the phone and my Aunt instantly said we are stuck in Louisville. Again, the rep said the same thing, "Let me transfer you to the Kentucky Line". My aunt said we were given the run around and the rep reassured that she will transfer them to the proper state and she will stay on the line. As soon as the dial tone came up a recorded message said we are currently closed. LOL. You mean to tell me that a 24 hour so-called service is closed. This company is indeed, "Absent, Aggravating, Abandoners (AAA)". Also, the website to request for assistance was malfunctioning. Looks like the IT team needs to work on the issues on their end. Thankfully, my family called a tow truck close by and received service. AAA needs to do right or they will get left (customers leaving).

Called aaa to get quotes for a 1yr anniversary day trip with Tiffany Hargrove travel agent. I've been with AAA for decades, and let Tiffany know of major health challenges going on with me so wasn't sure on how I would be feeling. So she guaranteed we wouldn't b charged unless we checked in.Well that was Sept. 2023 not only was my husband's card charged the hotel informed me sum1 checked in under our name in another city which we never visited or made reservations. Tiffany gave the hotel our c.c num. Then wouldn't help us get our $ bac her supervisor Rachel Webster didn't help much either she told me to call the hotel. I asked for corporate num. And sum1 I can call over their heads they refused to giv me any info on taking this higher. I think the agent has sum kind of scam goin on on the side. Rachel is just covering up for Tiffany bcuz she doesn't want to be held to account. Stay away from Tiffany Hargrove$292 unauthorized charged

Horrible service !!!I Waited three days to have my vehicle towed and then they call me back and said they could not find nobody. Now I had to call a private company to have my vehicle towed from my driveway to a repair shop.

This is a great company, and really reasonable insurance, unless you have an actual claim! We had hail damage in May 2022. I have since been through five different claims agents. They seem to quit every 2 to 3 months. Their emails bounce back, or they don’t return phone calls. Then you have to start over and find a new agent to take your claim. I’m still waiting on my final reimbursement and no one will return my emails. Also, their new roadside assistance app will automatically route you to the nearest garage, even if it’s closed because it’s a night, a weekend, or you are stuck in a rural area. It does not understand how to determine if the AAA partner it’s trying to reach is actually open or not! If it’s 10 o’clock on a Saturday night, you are going to be out of luck. Which is of course, the whole point of wanting to have the roadside assistance… for times just like that.

Do no buy home insurance from AAA. They are a fraud company. I have been with them for a few years and have not filed a claim. I recently filed a claim for roof damage due to recent storms in my area and they rejected the claim with reason that damage is more than 12 months old. I asked for proof how they came up with this, what data do they have, but did not get a response. I submitted a hail report showing how often it hailed this year and again did not get a response back from them. My several requests to them fell on deaf ears. I got an expert opinion from a contractor and he said this is definitely due to recent storms. Other home owners in my neighborhood have gotten their roof replaced in the same period without any issues with their insurance company. I feel that my home is not protected at all with AAA insurance. They are good at fabricating excuses and not providing any proof or good customer service. I escalated the issue, but no one would answer my questions and it's because they don't have any good answers. They breached the contract and left me hung out to dry and now they've terminated my insurance saying that since roof is damage, therefore I am ineligible now. Horrible horrible service and a scam company. They are in the business of just collecting premiums and not paying anything back. Please watch out for this before getting your home insured from them.

This roadside service is a joke. Nothing is done in a timely fashion. I've had two service calls placed in less than 30 days and it has taken hours and rolled over into the next day. Both times resulting in me missing work. I contacted the better business bureau and someone did get back to me the first time and all she could offer me is $70 AAA dollars and for her to take my tow off. She told me I couldn't pay me for my days of work and that's crap. Because we pay for these services to insure we have ample time to make it where we need to be and to be safe. I suggest anyone who has them to cancel your policy and find someone else this place is a whole joke.

What use to be a great company has diminished over the years. The service collecting payments is great, but the claim service is horrendous. I made my first ever homeowners insurance claim with AAA last month, and the communication and service has been disgraceful. I'll be changing insurance companies for all of my needs soon.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Don't waste your money. It's not worth it as they don't bother showing up for roadside assistance.

i was a aaa gold member until they cancelled me for disproportionate use of service lol. they're a bunch of crooks! I'm only upset bcuz I didn't get a chance to cancel them first. they don't give you an eta anymore either, if you are getting towed long distance. they try to force you to go to one of their service providers by taking several hours or days to tow your vehicle. this way they can save money. it's all about them!! have a nice day AAA and thank you for your horrible service

The famous AAA of Michigan had the audacity to not renew my Roadside Assistance. It's funny that they choose not renew after I made a complaint about how unreliable and off track they were both times I tried to utilize my roadside assistance. They would provide an ETA, then a few minutes before the ETA they would change the ETA to another time at least 2 hours longer than the original time. This happened three times in one day to the point I couldn't wait any longer so I cancelled. Before I cancelled, I asked two times if I could schedule for first thing the next morning. I was told yes, they could arrange that. The lady said no need to call because she would put all the information in the system and someone would call me before 7:00 am. The following morning I did not receive a call. So, I called at 7:30 am and provided all the information the lady gave me. I was told they don't schedule appointments. I explained the whole saga, only to be told that they would put it in the system and someone would contact me with an ETA. Again, the ETA was extended shortly before the original time not once but twice and again I gave up and cancelled. Finally, that evening, I was able to schedule for the guy to meet me at the location of my vehicle. When the guy arrived not only was he in an unpleasant mood but his truck was not equipped to handle the service request. This happened in September, 25 days after my membership renewed. I asked if I could cancel and get a refund on the membership. I was told no, I was not able to receive a refund despite the inability to service my needs. A couple months later I had a similar experience. I had already planned not to renew. They decided to send me a letter two months before my membership ends saying they have elected not to renew my membership because of disproportionate use of services. HAHAHAHA!! I can't use the services if your dispatchers at the company that YOU AAA are contracted with provide sub sub sub par services and are not equipped to handle a simple service despite taking the request and showing up without proper tools to complete the service. They didn't care the year prior when I only used one out of the six allowed roadside assistance calls included in the membership. Take a look at the photo of the nice little letter they sent. AAA is roadside assistance is worthless in Kent County. I give a ZERO out of Five.
