My aaa agent was going to reduce my rates. Come March he informed me that AAA is policy would not allow him to do that since ********* renewed in February, he was not able to lower my rates in March. I was told that my change cant come until August when ********* renews then it will go down so for six months I am being overcharged. What kind of business is that?. Time to look for a new insurance? If these people cannot do what is right and on time, not blaming my agent, but corporate need to change their policies.

You should think twice about AAA Auto Insurance. I won a lawsuit against them and they will not pay out. They have ignored every legal filing for this lawsuit up until this point. I believe they are trying to wait me out hoping I will just give up and they won't have to pay. It's a shame that people pay for insurance for years, but when they need AAA to pay out, they won't. What a scam!

I am soon to be a former member of AAA Auto Club. A few days ago, I received a letter from them stating that my membership would not be renewed at the end of this membership term due to a "disproportionate use of services". At the end of the letter was the tag line, with a phone number, to call with questions, which I did. The person who answered the call was informative until he got to the point of helping me personally by explaining what my disproportionate use entailed. I had used 1 out of 4, another person on the account had use 2 of 4 and the 3rd person on the account used 0 of 4. The unhelpful person on the phone explained that past years might have been taken into account in this determination but since the website only showed me this year's, I wouldn't know how many times we used them in the previous years of my membership. But here's the kicker, they won't tell you the reason they used to decide you would be chosen to have your account non-renewed!!! They made the decision that they weren't going to tell each member why they were being canceled!! I told Mr. Non-helpful they should have let off that line concerning calling with questions because they aren't going to answer questions anyway. I am disgusted with AAA... it's not like we abused the service but now it's all a secret about why I'm being randomly chosen for non-renewal. Evidently this is another of those companies that give you a false sense of security but, heaven forbid, if you actually use the service you are paying for, you will be penalized up to, and including, non-renewal of your membership.

I am a former customer of the AAA Auto Club Group. I recently relocated from NC to AR. In that move I transferred my daughter to her own NC AAA auto policy and setup an AR AAA auto policy for my wife and I. When I canceled my NC AAA policy, NC AAA was supposed to refund me more than $1100. It has now been 3 months since the refund was supposedly processed and I have not received it. I have spoken with several people at NC AAA about my situation and am astonished at the poor customer service up to and including management. Initially I thought this situation was due to a poorly implemented refund process and/or an antiquated financial system. But after exchanging a couple of email messages with my NC AAA agent's manager, Andrew Diebert, it turns out the problem is a management problem. How does this happen, isn't this brought up in a management meeting, is the manager asking his reports if they are having any problems. Can any company justify a refund taking 3 months? Keep in mind, that I have literally contacted my NC agent a dozen times by voice and email only to find out the last attempt at generating my refund, last week, was thwarted by a senior level accountant who forgot to hit the process button after entering all refund information. I was told, "Hopefully you'll receive it next week". Any normal person would be a little upset about this. I've been very patient up to this point. The NC AAA agent doesn't seem to have any control over the situation, so I attempted to contact the agent's manager to complain, which is listed on the bottom of every AAA agent's email. I asked that manager to give me a call. Of course, he didn't, he was too busy to speak with a AAA customer... he was unavailable. And it didn't cross his mind to give me a call at the end of his day. He responded to my email with the I'm sorry, "all is okay" message indicating everything is on track ignoring my request. So I asked Andrew if he would provide me with his manager's contact information on three maybe more occasions. I got the please call me, it's handled let me know if there is something I don't know about, the buck stops with me... so basically go pound sand. Unlike AAA agents, AAA managers don't provide their contact information in their email; maybe that should be a new policy at AAA... I bet that would be an initiative for managers to provide better customer service. If you become a member of AAA The Auto Club Group, this is the company culture you may have to deal with. I've reached out to the AAA The Club Group's CEO, Joseph Richardson, to make him aware of this situation. Once I'm able to speak with him, I'll update this post. ------ UPDATE DEC 17, 2021 ----- I still have not received a refund. I have been able to send a personal message to both the AAA Carolinas CEO and The Auto Club Group about this issue; however, one of the leaders will have the decency to contact me.

I've had their home/renters and car insurance for 5 years. The website is terrible, the app doesn't work, and lately their customer service has been terrible. They've messed up the payments 3 different times, and charged me too much. And now that I've cancelled they are still charging me! Avoid them! Prices are cheap because they are terrible.

After 28 years of paying for homeowners insurance and making a two small claims in all those years I needed AAA in a DTE related issue (power surge) and I received two so called electricians that determined it was all wear and tear. I still do not have power to one wall of my home and they DENIED my claim. This must be how agents get there quarterly bonuses. I’m definitely looking for a trustworthy insurance company because AAA don’t seem to care if the house catches fire or not

Twice I reached out to AAA road service, once I was waiting on the phone for a very long time, I was on a busy not safe highway, and could not get help from AAA. Today I locked my keys in the car and they thought o wanted a key made, so I waited forever in a parking lot, finally someone called me and then I waited for another long period of time waiting and finally called someone else and was snow to get someone there in about 15 minutes. AAA website is not what it should be and the wait time is terrible all around. I finally got a call from AAA after 4 when I had called them at around 1pm! Wanting to know if I was at the location still! They cancelled the service call for me lol! They are too overwhelmed??

Very, very poor service. Forget about the RV Plus service. They are unable to tow RVs in the Detroit area. Don't waste your money!

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS PRETTY MUCH NON EXISTENT. LACK OF COMMUNICATION AND ARROGANT. MARK HAS BEEN OUR AGENT FOR TOO MANY YEARS. WE HAVE BEEN TRYING TO FIX HIS MISTAKE (HE CLAIMS IT WAS HIS ASSISTANTS FAULT WHO DOEANT WORK THEIR ANYMORE). WE SOLD OUT HOME IN NOVEMBER OF 2019, BOUGHT OUR NEW HOUSE IN DECEMBER OF 2019. DURING THAT PROCESS HE SENT MY LOAN OFFICER A PAID IN FULL INVOICE FOR MY INSURANCE. SO INSTEAD OF THE INSURANCE BEING PAID THROUGH THE LOAN THEY HAD THE RECIPT THAT IT WAS PAID. (I HAVE IT TOO). WE CALLED THEM ABOUT OUR NEW HOME BECAUSE THE SELLERS STOLE ITEMS THAT WERE TO BE LEFT WITH THE HOUSE PER CONTRACT AND THEY LEFT ANIMAL FECES IN THE HVAC SO WE HAD TO REPLACE OUR FURNACE AND MOST OF OUR VENTING DUCTS SO WE TALKED TO THEM IN JAN 2020. By FEB THE ORIGINAL COMPANY SELLS THE MORTGAGE TO ANOTHER COMPANY, THE ORIGINAL MORTGAGE SAYS IM PAID UP THROUGH DEC 2020 FOR MY INSURANCE AFTER I CALLED THEM BECAUSE I STARTED GETTING LETTERS ABOUT NOT HAVING INSURANCE. MY MORTGAGE COMPANY ASSURED ME EVERYTHING WAS PAID. AUG. THEY CHARGED CLOSE TO $600 TO CLOSE MY ACCOUNT. WE TALKED WITH MARK AGAIN HE SAID HE WILL TAKE CARE OF IT. WE HAVE TALKED WITH HIM EVERY MONTH SINCE THEN HE ALWAYS SAYS HE WILL GET IT FIXED AND BLAMES IT ON SOMEONE ELSE. THE LAST TIME WE CALLED HE SAID I TOOK CARE OF IT BUT OUR MORTGAGE COMPANY SAYS THEY NEVER HAVE TALKED TO HIM. THEY CHARGED US ALMOST $1000 BECAUSE THEY CALLED CORPORATE AND THEY SAID WE NEVER HAD INSURANCE. SO WE TALKED TO HIM AGAIN HE WASHED HIS HANDS OF IT AND THEY SAID WE HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF THE ISSUE ITS NOT THEIR FAULT THE PERSON WHO MADE THE MISTAKE DOESNT WORK FOR THEM ANYMORE. DURING ALL THIS SOMONE HITS OUR PRIVACY FENCE BLASTS THE POLE OUT OF THE GROUND AND PUTS A HOLE OUR DOG CAN GET OUT OF. WHEN WE CALLED TO GET AN ADJUSTER TO LOOK AT IT THEY WENT TO OUR OLD ADDRESS WE HAVENT LIVED AT FOR OVER A YEAR. SO WE HAVE SIGNED UP WITH A DIFFERENT INSURANCE CO TODAY THEY SAID THEY HAD OUR HOUSE VALUED 50% MORE THAN IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN. THE ERROR WITH THE INVOICE WHEN WE ORIGINALLY BOUGHT THE HOME AND ALL THE EXTRA MONEY WE HAD TO PAY THEM AND PAY OUR MORTGAGE COMPANY PUT MY ESCROW IN THE NEGATIVE AND ROSE MYORTGAGE PAYMENT OVER 33%. WE ALSO FOUND OUT THEY LIED ABOUT WHAT IS COVERED UNDER OUT AUTO INSURANCE. MY ADVICE IS IF YOU HAVE MARK AS AN AGENT RUN AWAY AS FAST AS POSSIBLE HE DOESN'T DO HIS JOB, HE DOSEN'T COMMUNICATE, HE BLAMES OTHERS AND IS ARROGANT. OUR HOME OWNERS INSURANCE WENT UP ALOMOST 50% FROM THE ORIGINAL INVOIVE WHEN WE BOUGHT THE HOME. 1 YEAR BEFORE. IF WE NEEDED TO PAY FOR THE INSURANCE WE WOULD HAVE BUT HE KEPT SAYING HE WILL FIX IT. SO INSTEAD OF PAYING TH $1058 WHICH WAS INVOICED WE PAYES CLOSE TO $1500 AND WILL HAVE TO PAY AN ADITIONAL $6000 ON OUR MORTGAGE BECAUSE OF OUR ESCROW. THIS COMPANY IS A MAJOR SCAM.

AAA is hands down the worst. I got a notice on May 3 in the mail that my home owners insurance would be cancelled May 7 because they didn’t receive a payment. It’s paid through escrow. I called my mortgage company they sent a payment May third (the reinstatement fee). Due to covid the mail is slower. But that excuse only works for AAA not for loyal customers. I’ve never been treated like this ever. The mortgage company paid this May 3. It arrived to AAA May 17th. Who knows if they even checked it before then?!!. but they cancelled my policy, after ten years with AAA. I will be going elsewhere.
