There was only 1 of what I was looking for in the entire store. A young gentleman scoured the entire store until he found it for us. Customer service is a lost art, so it was nice to see someone go above and beyond!!

I really don’t know what to say. You have been a Best Buy customer for over 20 years. Came to the Dearborn location to purchase the mounting of a tv that I bought from Best Buy last year and back then they screwed up my order and missed and canceled due to some things not delivered to their warehouse. I asked for the mounting to be like I did before with a power supply to hide the wires. The sales rep showed me everything on the screen including everything on the order needed but ended up charging me to install the power supply but not adding the power supply itself. When the install people came in they said you paid to install the power supply but not the part so we don’t have it. Really ?? If it took half hour waiting for a teenager to help me out and I was clear that I needed my tv mounted with all parts needed just for me to wait few weeks for the installer to say ????
For 4 months now after calling Best Buy multiple times times to get a refund and been told that a gift card was mailed to me without receiving it I finally came to this location in person so The manager Dimitri tells me that I should keep calling and that there is nothing he can do. I feel I got stiffed for $300 and no one at bestbuy can do anything about it. This is what happens when you hire a teenager as a manager.

This BestBuy rocks 🎸 for us. The service team has always been friendly and helpful. 👍 In our modern society you are obligated to do your own due diligence... you research what you desire, then come in to discuss with the BestBuy experts. They will make sure you purchase the solutions you need, and you will understand why what they sold you was right on.

We were looking for a particular microwave. It was available from other retailers (Lowe's, Home Depot) but not right away. An internet search indicated that this store had the unit we were interested in. It was a significant drive so I called to verify that they did indeed have the unit available, that it was new and in the original box. I was told that it was.
When we got to the store:-
1) There was a search for approximately 1/2 hour - unit could not be found.
2) They had 1 like-unit available but in the wrong color. This unit was not listed in their inventory whereas the one with the right color was.
3) The people in the store were helpful but you could see that they were fighting a loosing battle with uncaring and lethargic management.
4) When looking for the right unit I was able to check out most of their other inventory. Almost all of the boxes were damaged. I certainly didn't get a feeling that they were competent and well managed.
5) I was told that when I called we did not talk to anybody in the store (even though this was not apparent at the time). Apparently it was somebody in a 'call center' somewhere that was looking at the same bogus inventory data that was on the internet.
What a waste of time.
Be careful when doing business with these people.
