Went in a couple weeks ago looking for watercolor paints and paper not knowing much about both of them. Becca and Matt were so kind and so patient helping me find the right paints and paper for me! Thank you for your time and advice! Now I can create more stuff, thanks to you guys!

I love this store, and most of the staff, with the exception of the older gentleman who likes to follow black/brown customers around the store to keep an eye on them. The first time I thought it was just maybe a fluke, but it has happened the other times I’ve come in too. If I’m just looking around he will deliberately walk to the section I am in and check on me multiple times in different sections in an extremely unfriendly manner. It’s not good customer service, it’s judging and making your POC customers feel alienated. I hope management sees this because other reviewers have said the same thing. Brown people can be artists and shop for art supplies too, we aren’t just inherently “up to no good” just for existing. The one downtown Detroit treats POC customers much better!

Blick has the best customer service of any store I've ever been to. The prices are great and they have everything I need for restoring the color of leather. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

Huge variety of supplies, and some fun stuff that makes great gifts! The staff is helpful and friendly. Location is easy to find. I started shopping here when I was a teenager, about 40 years ago. So glad it's still in business!
