DFCU has basically become a bank. Their fees are higher than most banks, and their technology is way out of date. If you have to get an account here, at the very least, do not get a credit card through them.

When my credit card account was hacked, DFCU contacted me by phone and email. When I connected with them, the representative was very professional, explaining what had happened and what could be done about it.
Long story short, my account was closed and I received a new card in the mail within three days. I’ve been a DFCU customer for over 30 years, and I’ve had nothing but positive experiences in all that time. These people are a 10 out of 10.

Keeps stopping my credit card for no reason. When I call about it one person says it's random and another person says it looked suspicious. They need to work out one lie. When I was younger they wouldn't give me a loan even though I made enough to pay twice the loan payments.

I was attempting to link my DFCU account with another institution and the DFCU system locked me out when the security codes that were sent didn't work. For two days I've attempted to call and speak with a member service representative to have my online banking unlocked as this can apparently only be done with the assistance of a representative. The system hangs up on me once I get through to the online banking area citing too many calls in the queue. Today I called at 9:02 AM EST which is two minutes after opening and have had the same experience. I've attempted four times this morning and this has occurred each time. I'm very disappointed. I hope someone from DFCU reaches out to me from this post to provide assistance. I am unable to come into a member center during working hours as mine are the same Mon through Sat. I previously worked for this organization as a proud team member in the member centers and call center. I am surprised and saddened with my current experience.

I rarely go into DFCU. I more often use ATM. It was nice going in, no difficulties, waited on quickly, young woman was pleasant and personable .

DFCU is easy to access for ATM visitation and electronic bill payments. The tellers at DFCU are professional and courteous when I require teller services. I appreciate and continue to use DFCU for my financial needs.
