Seats were uncomfortable, even MJR has better seats.. other than the seating I liked the really big screen and the 3D effect was as good as it gets!

Rides were nice, and good frozen custard and lemonade. Now there was a nice glass shoppe, however some of the employees there were islamophobic, and rude specifically to us, not just one. It was almost as if they were trying to be rude only to us the Muslim families.

Projection was great. Audio was decent. Would love to see you guys remodel with reclining heated chairs like most theatres have now. Your AC was also just too cold. Me and the two other people I came with agree, unfortunately. Just a few degrees warmer would we perfect, considering no heated seats.

We bought the “All Access” pass at The Henry Ford, which was supposed to include one Giant Screen Experience showing. The one we picked was “Hot Rods and Muscle Cars.” We were told that that particular movie was $20 extra, which doesn’t make any sense. It was awful. A YouTube video covering the same topic would have been just as good or better. It was a low-quality, low-budget, little-effort documentary. The giant screen was completely wasted on this “movie.” If this was the “upgraded” movie experience, what are the other movies like?

It's not IMAX, but it's still cool.

Great movies, nice theater, not open on Tuesdays, the only days
I could go, so it’s completely worthless now.

This is a great venue with a larger-than-life screen. We watched a film that showed a lot of natural sites and focused on exposing young people to nature.Other great films are "Secrets of the Sea" and "Superpower Dogs".

They used to be able to show actual IMAX format feature films but lost their IMAX license- or whatever reasoning- and the "full screen" experience is not the same without IMAX produced movies. I saw Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, Dark Knight Rises, and Interstellar there over a decade ago. Parts of those movies were shot on actual 70mm IMAX film and seeing those at Henry Ford were breathtaking experiences that I sorely miss as an avid theater goer. Nowadays, other theaters like Emagine/AMC/MJR try to sell a new theater as IMAX/"Largest Screen" but their screens nor projectors are true 1.43:1 IMAX aspect ratio (meaning they crop out the top and bottom of the film that a director intended to show). Only this place and a theater in Grand Rapids is a true top-to-bottom, full screen experience in the entire state of Michigan (The Michigan Science Center is a Dome Screen which over-stretches the image).... Well it's been long enough. I was looking for a place to watch Dune Part 2 and of course I'm let down again. Not to mention, Oppenheimer was a cinematic masterpiece and this theater would have been proud to give movie fans an experience that is shown the way it was truly intended to see. Christopher Nolan wants his theater back.

This was my first time here for the 3D experience and it was wonderful. We saw Wings Over Water and it was simply incredible. The seats were super comfortable and spacious. The snacks were reasonably priced and the theater was super clean. As a member of greenfield village the documentaries are also Free!
