I needed a new car and had no idea what I was doing. I am only 24 and have only bought used cars from private sellers so this was all new to me. I got in touch with Erin Law and she made the car buying process so simple and explained all the big fancy words to me. She even checked up on me a few days later to make sure everything was going okay and I was happy with my purchase. I would 10000% recommend Erin to everyone I know. My roomate even came the next day to buy a car from her! Sweetest person at LaFontaine Kia by far ?

Called and was told to walk in and ask for a gentleman Ace. Was greeted by a nice fellow James who said it was his day off. After waiting for Ace James said he would take care of us even though he was to off that day.Ace was busy so we went on a ride as I already had what I wanted in mind. Came back after drive and we spent 4hrs waiting on paper work and things to get in order as James seem to have his hands full with kids calling and for some reason talking to other clients as we were there first. The whole process took almost 4 and half hrs from start to finish that was not good as any other car I bought experience was 2 hrs at most. Was a Saturday but it was not that busy.also told them what we wanted as loan and there was a miscommunication and some extra items were put in when we went to sign paper. Loan officer was great and changed all the things we didn't need. Ace was great for showing us car that it was cleaned up and washed and also was to take note that car had a scratch on rear light ? All and all they were good just took to long for my liking but recommend them!

I am not happy with the service department. I scheduled a day/ time to drop off my car. I had to wait about 3 weeks to get my Kia in. The day I dropped it off (10/24) I was told it wouldn't be looked at for 48 hours. What's the point of the appointment, then? I was also told "it should be done by the end of the week". It wasn't done by the end of the week. I received a call on the 26th and was told two parts had to be ordered. (I had previously been told "we have all the parts except one and we can get that from another local dealership). Since then I have called repeatedly to find out the status of my car and have not received a return call back. I can't get an actual person in the service department to speak to and have only been able to leave messages. Yesterday (11/6) I "spoke" to someone via a virtual chat who said she would contact the service department. As of today (11/7) I have not been contacted. I had another virtual chat today and have been told I should hear back from the service department manager. Nothing so far. I like my Kia Soul very much but I don't think I'll ever purchase a Kia again because of the difficulty I've had servicing it at 2 different dealerships.Addendum: About a year or two back I had to get an entire new engine (From dealership in Ypsilanti) . They had my car over 4 months. Same thing there. No updates or return phone calls. Very disappointing customer service

Wow! Wes made this the best car buying experience, from the first phone call to the handshake walking out the door with the keys… ZERO pressure and great attitudes all the way around through every part of the process. Thank you for providing top notch experience which seems very hard to find nowadays, I am so happy with my experience at this place, Wes helped and took great care of me and my husband every step of the way on the purchase of my 2024 Kia Sportage, he was very knowledgeable and attentive, he answered all our questions and made leasing a car for first time in my life look so easy. I am amazed by the short time spent at the dealership which ended by driving my car back home at same day. Absolutely love the car and very happy with the service I received throughout the purchase process. Everything was explained in details and all my questions were answered, I was introduced to the service area as well. Wes helped me connect my phone to the car and also showed me all the screen features and how to use them. Definitely recommend to friends looking for a new vehicle.

UPDATE to the reply.I advise you, do not come to this dealership! My visit to the dealership was a frustrating ordeal. I initially brought my car in to address a recurring battery issue, only to have it languish at the service center for nearly two weeks without any communication from them. I called the first time after a week of silence and they said the technician hasn't gotten to it. My attempts to reach out via phone were met with silence, forcing me to physically go to the dealership for answers.When I arrived in person, they handed my car back to me, still clueless about the problem, and charged me $94 for essentially nothing. I requested to speak with Eddie, the technician who had worked on my car, but was told he was on a "lunch break" at 4 pm. When I asked to speak with the manager, I was informed that they were in a meeting.To add insult to injury, my car wouldn't start in the dealership's parking lot, necessitating a jumpstart. Tomorrow, I expect the battery to die once again. This entire experience was incredibly unprofessional and left me utterly dissatisfied and cheated.UPDATE:We appreciate your attempt to address our concerns, but unfortunately, the communication has been deeply disappointing. I sent an email and received no response, and when I called, I was informed that the manager was unavailable with no clear timeline for his return. To make matters worse, I was then transferred to a line that nobody answered. It’s evident that this gesture was merely an attempt to silence me and create a facade of caring, which is disappointing and reflects poorly on your customer service.

Brandon Avery was a very helpful sales person I felt at ease with him. He and his manager stayed over extra after hour just to make sure I was taken care of and that made me feel good about getting my vehicle from LaFontaine. They know how to treat you and make you feel comfortable when I was didn't know what vehicle to choose.

I was terribly disappointed by my recent service. I was charged 150 dollars for a bundle package that was never explained to me as I asked for a standard oil change and tire rotation. After I hung up the phone, I found a coupon for an oil change for 69.95. I called to ask for the cheaper price and Aaron the service manager told me it was too late. He got an attitude so I asked to speak to his manager. The manager gave me the coupon price and I appreciated that. However, Aaron called me back to take my payment and then hung up on me.The service manager has been decent with me in the past, but I am considering going to another location in the future. I was shocked to be treated that way.

I was called over and over all week even after i agreed to hear the deals waking me up all week. Overall, it was a very uncomfortable experience. I had an appointment. As i waited for my sales person, two sales people where talking, and i am sure i was referred to as a bad referral, and the coordinator for the sale named Eric was called a inappropriate term for male genital around my 3 year old and another toddler. I got another salesperson due to my original was to busy with an appointment. He was nice and didn't want me to wait. The new sales person talked me right out of buying anything. Listening to employees talk with customers about customers and employees calling other employees names all while I sit and wait for help. I want my data deleted from your system ?. Update 9-8 I sent email to the response email address below and requested my information be removed from there system. Update 9-11 still no response for the email to the GM. Please delete me from your system so I can't be contacted by your dealership. Update 9-17 I have emailed the GM several times with no replies. Please stop contacting me by mail, email, or phone calls.

I had a wonderful experience there. My service tech was Raven and she was just the best. When my Uber driver canceled my ride she immediately got me another one. I live out of town and they were very conscientious when I asked them to go over my car because I had to drive it back to Florida. The reason I took it in there was covered under warranty so there was no charge. I can’t say enough about Raven and the wonderful staff

I had an appointment for an oil change 9/5. I had no idea the price for an oil change had increased to 102.00. However, I did sign the initial form before going into the waiting room. Once I checked out is when I realized the price at increase almost double. I signed the initial form not expecting any change since my last oil change 3 months ago. The service person Aaron did not inform me of any change ( which would have been Great customer service) since I have been taking my cars there for over 15 years. Aaron almost never has a great attitude when dealing with me since our last previous service conflict. Nothing was posted to indicate an increase in the oil change and nor did Aaron offer that information. I understand price increases but double?? Along with the increase and Aaron’s terrible customer service I will look for a new service center.

I won’t get until ALL of the specifics but I will say I purchased a BRAND NEW vehicle from here on 8/3/2023 and it’s in their shop currently with the check engine light on and an “issue with the cooling system message!” While I know LaFontaine did not build the unit, no one from the dealership has even had the decency to reach out to me. NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!!

I had a really great experience here at LaFontaine Dearborn. Started with another dealership that wouldn't return my calls. Pulled up to this place with no appointment and Dejuan Wiley was the one who helped us through our process. He got us the exact car we were looking for and he really made us comfortable throughout the experience, he's awesome. I'll definitely be visiting him in the future when it's time to upgrade. Thank you for amazing customer service, I hope you know it is appreciated.

Great experience at Lafontaine Kia Dearborn! My sales lady Erin Law was the best Sales person I ever worked with. The car buying process was simple and fast for me. The finance guy was easy and accommodating with no high pressure warranty sales. Thank God! One of the best car buying experiences I've had!!
